It was wrong for Greg Abbott to pardon this man and I'm not going to forgive him for it Greg Abbott he's our governor in Texas and now he's on my s*** list

Oh no, Nancy is mad at the governor of the great state of Texas. He should just resign now. You do know they suppressed exculpatory evidence during the grand jury proceedings, right? If all the evidence was presented he would never have been charged. And Abbot didn’t pardon him, he doesn’t have that privilege in Texas. Only the board of parole can do that. The governor can veto their decision but can not make it unilaterally so your vitriolic argument isn’t even directed properly. Wow. Just wow.

You know, the party that killed 5 million Americans to uphold and maintain black slavery and when they lost colluded and killed the Republican president that passed the Emancipation Proclamation. The same party calling for the genocide of Jews on every college campus…you mean that party?

@@IreneCampos-tk2vd I think the truth hurts your world view
The way Conservatards like you are treating this, is as though Perry, who literally drove his car into a crowd of people with a gun after running a red light, invoking a response by Garrett to investigate while carrying his weapon in a legally permissible low hanging position meant that Perry was "justified" in using self-defense. Many witnesses on the stand had corroborating stories that Garrett never pointed his gun at Perry. Yet Somehow, Conservatives argue that even though Garrett was investigating Perry's insane actions in a fully legal manner according to all the evidence, that this was somehow an excuse for "self defense ".
meanwhile, they also argue that Garrett being armed, meant he was somehow "out to kill people", but Perry being armed and literally driving into a group of protesters aggressively, somehow doesn't mean he was "out to kill people".
To make matters worse, the text messages from Perry from just prior to him going to that protest armed, indicate that he "may have to kill someone", that he was going to "shoot looters" and advising others to "aim for center mass" never factor into their rhetoric.
Pure double standards mental gymnastics the whole way through from the likes of you and other conservatives
It's truly laughable that you don't believe in the 2nd amendment when it's inconvenient on a case by case basis. Garret specifically armed himself to protect protesters from nuts, and it's clear that with nuts like Perry who "panicked" his way into driving a car into the crowd of protesters with a gun himself, that it was more than legitimate.
Through your defense and other conservatives defense of Perry killing Garret on the grounds that the other person was "Armed", even though Garret was legally armed, is significant evidence that conservatives only want the 2nd amendment for conservatives and nobody else. if you are armed but have different political views from conservatives, it is apparently "Self defense" for a conservative to shoot a legally armed non-conservative person.

I thought journalists were supposed to provide the who, what, where, when, and why. The reason why Perry was pardoned had nothing to do with the events at the protest but the Prosecutorial Misconduct of DA Garza (D) when he threatened the job of the lead investigator if he didn't withhold evidence from the Grand Jury.
