Totallyyyy agree w/ you about the Lady D. I wanted to love mine Soo Soo much but honestly it was just way to formal & tailored for everyday wear. I use my *luxdups* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interio.
Cut the strap off the speedy nano! I did and now it’s one of my favorite bags! Like I loved her before but I love her so much more now. I bought a monogram strap from LV and I love the look of the bag even more now!
LV has the mini speedy HL which is the OG smallest speedy (made pre-date code) & it's smaller than the nano speedy but has no strap, which is great for versatility! it's been my favorite bag for just the essentials. I love this video so much bc mini bags have a special place in my heart ❤️
I wish they just re release the HL speedy sooo much. It’s such a classic they would make soo much money off of it again. But so hard to get of the resell market 🥺😭

I had same problem with the strap of one of my gucci bags which was not detachable -so i never used it because it always was sitting too low -below my hips-so I made a decision to cut it off! And it was a great decision! I attached a different gucci chain to it and now this is literally my favorite bag

I don’t recommend doing anything to alter this or any bag, such as cutting the strap! Once you do that, Louis Vuitton will not touch it... even if it’s just to replace a zipper-pull or polish the hardware. The reason the strap is so long is because the style is intended to be strictly worn as a crossover. Which is fine for non-Asian’s over 5’9” 🙄 Yes! I love vintage Chanel lambskin with its flat quilting! So much more beautiful than the puffy.

I’ve seen SO many reviews on it and everyone says it’s the perfect size because it’s small but it holds way more than the square and ugh i love it so much. I'm hoping they make the straps adjustable and removable and I think the bag would look adorable in the Damier ebene printt. Maybe they will remodel it if enough people complain like they did with the palm springs mini zipper issue.
!!!!!!!PLEASE, please don't cut the strap of the Speedy!!!!!!!! The strap is attached to the bag with 2 metal rings. Those are not welded - so it's not a perfect circle. I took mine to a cobbler, paid 10 EURO and he used some pliers to pull the rings apart, take the strap off and then reattach the same rings. The bag is not affected, then you can use whatever strap you want and the original one remains intact, ready to be used later on. Also, if you'll ever want to resell it, this will not affect the value of the bag.
When I finally bite the bullet (which I feel I’ll eventually do lmao) definitely will consider taking it to a specialist as opposed to just take scissors and yanking it off 😂
Maggie, if you bring your Speedy nano to a cobler they can cut the strap and put clasps on and make it removable. 🌻

I think you should take the LV mini speedy to a leather expert and cut it off and make a hook for the ends of the leather strap.
When I finally bite the bullet (which I feel I’ll eventually do lmao) definitely will consider taking it to a specialist as opposed to just take scissors and yanking it off 😂
For the LV speedy, you can take it to leather atelier they can un-stitch the handle, and if u want to sell it, they can stitch it back on again.
