Those guys and the guys I serve as a good as ANY Marine you ever served with. That kind of talk you're saying is the same crap that my dad heard in the early part of 1950 when he went to training in the Army and he was black. It was a damn lie it's a damn lie now.
In any organisation,enterprise or whatever activity is built on it's people the primary requirement is the desire and commitment to be there.skills can be taught,capacity enhanced, experience is gained.Doesnt matter how well an individual matches the desired attributes,as a former boss remarked those who have wrong attitude and don't want to be here can just f#*' off.
9 years ago they found that the inclusion of women made the Marines perform more poorly across the board. They're not engaged in combat. Since our modern day conflicts are more technologically driven , we can allow them posture and pose around , I suppose.

USMC 64--68. Things have sure changed since 1964. That's back when it was still the real Marine Corps. Oh well, everything changes.
