I know in react js they call it like that. The class components are called smart ones and functional components are dumb components. They are called smart because they have state which can be controlled to updated the UI.
Dump components doesn’t have any direct communication with service or http calls, it’s entirely dependent upon @Input data. Parent component is called smart
yes, you can. basically ng generate gives basic template for directive. you have to write the logic on your own. Ng generate command from angular CLI just adds the directive files and includes the reference in module correctly.
