The frantic clicking and eating while waiting for dialog made me chuckle
that clicking and spamming of buttons actually skips dialogue most of the time! That’s what makes this run so fast

Fail conditions and a few other events override dialogue in favor of scene progression, like messing up the theater.
The Fabricator: "Alright, let's start the show! I hope for your sakes, nobody fucks up."
Agent Phoenix: Immediately brings up the curtains, spams every button and switch
The Fabricator: "U-Uhhhhhh we're moving up the time table, bring down The Mask!"
Agent Phoenix: Immediately destroys the mask
The Fabricator: WHAT THE F-
and then agent phoenix went to the final level and distoryed your nuke plan in a couple of seconds

this is genuinely the funniest speedrun i’ve ever seen
the "i'm tossing down a flashlight" moment in the 3rd mission gives the same vibes as being in a paired-up project where the other guy has everything planned out already and you still want to be of some use so you just bring water bottles to them

Honestly, one of my favorite headcannon's is that the Agent does everything in one run, implying if someone did a 100% run, they would be speed running, achievement getting, and completing the mission all at the same time.

Well in the eaves drop level there are 2 souvenirs for killing the guard with a bottle and a bear but you can’t do both at the same time so that’s kinda sad

Dude, the "speedrunned" ending is much better than the normal one. In the normal Zor just waits till you disarm the nukes, and in the "speedrunned" one Zor talks to JJ, not to the agent, with epic music, and then you both die at the same time

The difference in play style changes how the world would realistically view Agent Phoenix.
For example, on the playthrough of the channel "STFU And Play", Agent Phoenix is a clumsy alcoholic who often ends up in deadly situations because he's busy messing around, but he always gets the job done in the end.
In this playthrough, Agent Phoenix has drank so much coffee that he can see the future, leaving him with an impatient twitch as he's always waiting for the next moment he can speed everything along faster.
Also, literally disabling the final bomb before Wil Wheaton even dies...

The speedrun's chaotic, almost panicked mashing and shaking of everything in sight pairs wonderfully with my only other impression of Agent Phoenix was a playthrough where they drank every bit of alcohol in sight

yes. the overload of sounds created by spamming buttons, cabinets, and drawers skips dialogue, which makes the level much faster.

How did you get it to where when you put the ball thing on the hand to deactivate the lasers when you go down the gas doesn’t get you ‘ cause when I try that the gas always kills me
this takes a lot of practice to get the timing down but generally after you put the lantern in the hand and hear the sound that plays when you do something right you can immediately start lowering. You can’t go to soon or too late, it really just requires practice unfortunately. I would study the timing of this and other eaves drop runs for extra context. Hope this helps

how \do u do the glich less speedrun i know thats not the thind u went for but im very confused on what it means by no dialogue skips
so you can just run through the game as fast as you can without breaking the game. Dialogue skips include mashing buttons and making sounds really quickly to essentially break the audio engine and skip dialogue. If you’ve never heard of them, maybe check out my glitch guide video. Anything you see in that video can’t be used in glitch less, everything else is allowed. Additionally, intended skips like skipping junipers speech in safe and sound by putting something in front of the window is part of the game, so it is not considered a dialogue skip.

Good run, but ya did kind of cheat, putting ya head in food cart and the elevator in my eyes don't count, and the spamming is so unnecessary, can tell you are board while doing this.
this wasn't a glitchless run. you can see the rules on speedrun.com if you want to learn more. Funnily enough, the spamming is actually the most necessary part of the run, as the overload of sounds skips dialogue when done fast enough. Hope this helps
