I noticed that at 2:50, the handler sounds extremely fond, chuckling 'heh, Agent Pheonix.' and i was like 'oh, no no no no no no, we... we are so dead, arent we?' goddamn you game you're making me cry for an unkillable character
I question if juniper really knew what he was getting into. Like, plot wise it mostly seemed like he was egoistic, rather than a megalomaniac. He seemed like he only wanted people to bow to his whims for the sake of feeding his ego. I don't quite get why he thought he had more power than an evil corporation, or could outsmart an engineer who was capable of making a mask that could flawlessly replicate a person's voice, mannerisms, and features. That's a level of ability which would have me wary always. Guess he was more the looks than the brains.
Yes and he thought he could kill someone who most likely almost made zor bankrupt and destroyed a fucking space satellite death lalser only being a few feet away from the explosion and surviving.
omg that cliff hanger at the end :( it does feel like their hinting at another game with the "If you survive this i'll be in touch" line. So fully in agreement there. Not going to lie I"m fully invested into this story. Kinda feels like one of those kid style mystery spy books.
I definitely agree on the third game taking place as a Zoraxis agent.. As you do their job, only for you to recover from the amnesia and then take down Dr Zor in the final mission of the game.
I don’t know what to say, this was so fun to watch, the characters the puzzles they are so well made, I really can’t wait for the 3RD, wolf humour just makes it 10X more fun to watch.
The I expect you to die 2 theme song literally tells you what happens in the game so maybe the credits are more than just the end and there will be a third game.

I saw a speedrun of this level once and by the time Dr Zor said "your move, agent" the player was almost done with the puzzle and just said "yeah yeah"
I hope we find out that Zor is actually our handler and that he has done everything ... Because of sheer boredom ... and that agent Phoenix has been the most engaging and entertaining opponent ever. Kinda like Moriarty and Holmes.

I expect you to die 2 is DRASTICALLY better than the first. Its more interactive, the plot is way better and the gameplay is more interactive (Homing missiles, timing gas knights, pretending to be… I forgot her name.) and the first mission. THE FIRST MISSION IS A MASTERPIECE. The process of doing something when someone says something is so fascinating, this vr game is almost perfect. Also R.I.P Agent Phoenix
kinda hated it like u said it was more story wise wich i dont mind if i can just enjoy but the main problem was the menu of levels and the fact that u have to do easy puzzels i liked it when it was simple but seems like a good part 2

The “I’ll be in touch” before the elevator goes hurtling down the shaft seems to also reference the first game when… whoever was on the death engine I don’t remember says something along the lines of “I’ll be in touch later, agent.” So… take it as you will. I also feel like the devs are going to make the sequel not feature anything other people have theorised just to screw with the fan base, lol.
I played the first and this one but I still wanted to watch someone else play it again. What a masterfully made game in every aspect. The atmosphere, the immersion, the voice acting everything makes you feel like agent phoenix. If it follows the same pattern as the previous one it is gonna be some years before the next one but I will be here to give them my money. Nice vids wolf 👍👍

So, whose predictions came true? Mine didn't. At all, really. While yes Juniper was an interloping force, he wasn't really neutral about it. I thought the point of calling the president dude grandfatherly would be to say that his child would be put in harms way, and it would implicate the other empires. What few predictions I did make properly were not very important. I knew that masks were going to be important, just not that JJ was going to be the con artist of the century, and that JJ never really cared about the evil or good itself, moreso just the fame that came from it. He truly ended up being his very own Prince Prospero, faced against the possibility of Death, his own hubris led to his own downfall. A man who thought the world over could perish, for he was going to be locked away in his own little abbey, scoffing at the world. I was correct about him unveiling or trying to unveil our "mask", but not in the way I thought. I thought he was trying to doxx us, not so much that he found out incidentally because we stole a plane from him, and just telling Zor completely.
There is apparently going to be a 3rd in this epic game series "Cog in the Machine" will agent wolf aka "Phoenix" return to the fray and save the world again?
1000% came here trying to figure out how to stop the saws from dropping the elevator, to be greeted with: "That is a BIG shaft...I mean, look at the head on that one!"
The guy survived an re-entry to earth after being in the middle of an Death Star explosion, and you want me to believe that he died in an Elevator fall?

In the last episode there was a hole in the laser-cage above you that matched the screwdriver and was probably a red-herring booby trap, but I was dying of curiosity. This time I feel like you can grab the napalm grenade to prevent it from detonation.
The laser cage opens to show a heat gauge, giving you a hint that you need to overheat it with the laser drill.
I tried grabbing the grenade upon it’s release, but that just causes it to go off early
