I love your card and I especially love how genuinely positive you are in all of your videos... whether it be a mistake or having your children craft with you. We are very lucky to have you in the crafting community. Thank you so much!
Hey, Natasha, my top tip for drying prints with limited space and funds, too: get a cookie cooling rack! Mine is a little bigger than a standard sheet of paper but comes with THREE tiers (it is foldable, too), so about a dozen card fronts taken care of! They are (here in Germany at least) only around 20 dollars - brilliant investment! I can keep crafting AND do not ruin my prints and card fronts or finished cards (gasp!) as they are drying. Kind regards from Germany, Nicola
Showing a mistake and how you deal with it, is especially good for those who are new to cardmaking. So often we watch a tutorial and think I'll never be that good. That isn't true, in fact how you deal with a mistake helps one to learn and personally I think it make us more creative. I rarely throw away something unless it is truly awful. I will either figure out how to use it in a different way or deconstruct a card to use certain elements from it.
Wow Natasha! Not only does that stencil background look amazing, but that yellow flower really pops on that purple. Gorgeous card! And such a clever way to hide your mistake by placing a panel over the top. I must get those markers! 😉❤️
How about using a brayer to apply a more even pressure? With a brayer, you could control how hard you press down, and your area would be larger in one pass.
I love how you always find a way to hide the "blips". I am going to try this technique as I already have my distress inks out. You card turned out beautifully. Thank you for sharing. 😊
I agree about hiding one's mistakes on cards, if possible. Recently, I made a couple of nice cards only to see a mark or glue smudge. I simply altered the card, and it looks good! Thanks, Natasha!
You can use ordinary printer paper or watercolour paper or a piece of fabric to blot the back of the stencil instead of paper towel, and that will give you more coloured paper/fabric to use in future cards too. Great way to use the positive of stencils - I so often prefer the positive than the negative
Hi. That is a lovely cards and the colours are fabulous! 😍 I did a load of backgrounds like this ages ago and I'll be darned if I could find them to turn into cards so it looks like I'll have to make another load.😂 Thank you for sharing another super video and have a great day.😊
I was getting ready for a nap & I thought first I would check & see if Natasha has a new video up! Yay! Purple is my favorite color, and this is a beautiful card. Blobs, etc, aren't mistakes, really. They just take your art into a new direction💜💜💜😅
Beautiful cards Tash!! I love the purple card especially. My problem is lining things up evenly.....if you could do a video showing us tips and tricks for lining up layers, that would be amazing. I would love that!!
I laughed (with you) when you said you got yellow on your card...I do the same no matter how careful I try to be. It's usually something I have on my hands. You did a great job in covering it up.
Natasha, I love your creative ideas ! Send some my way 😂🤣. I think I could copy someone else’s idea, more easily than create from my own ideas. I made a birthday card yesterday and mailed it today. Made another today to mail tomorrow ! I did come up with the ideas, but not tickled with the outcome ! They are nice looking , but not really as good as I wanted . I have purchased so many supplies , with scant output. Glad this is not for pay !If I mail you one , please don’t laugh so loud that I can hear you in the USA 😂🤣 ❣️
Love the technique. Never thought of using a "stencil" that way. I'd say I'm not really a stencil person, but I have some. Will have to try this. I've done backgrounds using markers instead of inks,no stencil. And had a ball doing it. Maybe I'll be getting more stencils. 😊 Thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous! I love watching your videos! You make everything look so easy. Can you tell me where you got the Time To Relax paper pad from, please? It is BEAUTIFUL! Thank you.
What a beautiful card! I have to cover up mistakes often. But, my worst is when I notice I have splotches of ink on the back of my cards! I feel they are totally unusable at that point! :~(
Hi Natasha - enjoyed watching you create! What do you do it you get ink transfer on your oxide pads when you are smooshing them on the stencil? Does it not matter when you try to use the ink pad?
Sometimes I have a question so I read the comments to see if someone else had the same one.....I have noticed that Natasha never answers anyone? Am I the only one that sees this? How can we get an answer if we have a question? Anyone????
Maybe without spraying it with water I’d like it. This just isn’t for me. I’ve always liked all of your cards except a couple of them. But you can’t please everyone.
I love your card and I especially love how genuinely positive you are in all of your videos... whether it be a mistake or having your children craft with you. We are very lucky to have you in the crafting community. Thank you so much!
Wish I could like this post 10 times!
How come every card, every time turns out to be magically beautiful ....applause
Always love the way you put together a card so everyone could do it with what they have

My motto is “there are No Mistakes in crafting Only Creative opportunities “ so I agree we reorganise to cover up blimps
Fantastic card & wonderful tips! Thank you for sharing & encouraging people to try new things & work through the little happy accidents!

Oh my!!! That purple card is stunning!! Absolutely stunning!!!

Really sweet card! Great way to hide the yellow blob! I like the technique too!

Natasha, What a lovely card!! So creative!! I like that you show and tell us how to cover something we did not mean to happen!! Thanks so much!!
Wow, those water colour pens make blending colours look so easy. Love your finished card and your colour combo 🌻🌻
This card turned out really pretty! I love the layout, even if it wasn't planned. 🙂

You could use a resist in the the stencil and put it on the paper. Then dip the paper in the ink like your doing with the stencil in the video.
Very pretty card!❤

Die Karte ist schön, doch das lila stört mich zu der Sonnenblume.

Do you ever sleep..?
Omg, underwear?? Lol
