Hi there, I think the engine is derived from the Kawasaki ER6 twin. The Yamaha Diversion XJ6 is an in line four. Good video though. Thank you.

@jamesbotha8122 it's just my personal opinion, the bike is a great value but the engine just felt a bit lackluster to me.
the bike is overall good, but for me the handles , the suspension and the bench are super weak.
If all you need is a basic bike to commute or even small trips, I'm sure it would do the job. Don't think it's the bike for you, personally Tom

The bike does not need to be taller you need to be shorter and if it's not fast enough get a bike with a bigger engine and pay more money Tom
I can't help how tall I am, I did by a bike that was bigger and cost more money
much perfer the look of the 502x
I've not had a chance to put them side by side, however the engine on the 502 does seem to look a bit more fitting 🤔
