So well said, I miss him too! I actually get a little teary when I happen to see a video or interview with him.
After I saw this on television I wrote President Obama a letter. I told him how much I appreciated his visit to Alaska. We are a unique people. I ended the letter by telling him it was good to see him with kids laughing and dancing. I later received a letter in the mail from him with an autographed photo of him dancing with kids. Pretty cool.
I agree. He seems very well liked there but Alaska always goes red in every election somehow.

I shared this today because I needed a little pick-me-up. This helped remind me that we had a wonderful man as President for 8 years. This Alaskan was proud to shake his hand and welcome him to The Great Land. Thank you, President Obama for returning the Denali name, and for visiting our homeland. Gunalsheesh!
That was a very touching performance. Obama clearly enjoys interacting with kids.
And this is why I love our President. He's not perfect for sure...but then again I know no one that is. Kids Love him because they just see the mans heart. Wonderful video.

Not a fan at all of his politics. But I come from a time when we can disagree and still respect each other. I have to admit this made me smile ral big and feel great to see. I do commend him for this.

This is great! He was still President when he made this visit, so his visit was a high honor. It was good to see him participating. (I can't help thinking, though, that it would be interesting to see him put on a bustle and dance in a Plains northern traditional dance.) :)
