- In this video I continue the work from part 1, first the exposed repaired metal is painted with stone guard, then the rear wheel bearings and brakes are removed, serviced and replaced, then the external rust is treated, primed and painted quickly and not very well. From here the new wheels are fitted, then the engine is serviced, interior is fitted as well as doing some electrical work, then the arches are rolled in possibly the worst way.

The MK3 golf platform was a great car. Good turning circle, with the VR6 a great motor way cruiser. It’s a shame about their unlimited capacity to rust.
Wish VW would supply new parts at sensible prices so we can keep them on the road.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed them! I've got a few more bits to do on it, I'm in the middle of fixing a couple more issues on it at the moment but I took a bit of a break for Christmas

What size wheels are those?
Hi mate, offset is in the high +30s but I have 15mm spacers all round, they're 16x7 wheels and the tyres are 205/45, hope this helps!
