I am not aware why the light flashes when I was pumping the throttle..I cannot remember how much km it had on the odometer..seems it has 4 digits on odo, but you could be correct, never faced that on any other ducati models during the test ride, though.
Between this Monster and Scrambler Full throttle, which one is better in terms of riding comfort, suspension on bad roads and heat management especially in the hot and humid weather of India ?
In terms of riding comfort, and road conditions like India, scrambler is a better suited model. The upright riding position in full throttle is a better for riding comfort. Though, moster has the same engine as on hypermotard, the radiator has only one fan compared to 2 in hypermotard. But both the motorcycles will not let rider feel any heat if you are on the move. But if you are in the traffic and stops in traffic often, there will be some heat coming out of the engine. Heat coming from engine when you are not moving is comparable, though scrambler is air-cooled and monster is liquid cooled. Monster has better seat than scrambler (wide) but the inclined semi aggressive riding position is not for every one..and am also not sure you can take full advantage of monster's power in Indian roads unless you are riding out of city or going for early morning rides. So I will pick full throttle over monster in India. But if you are price conscious, try triumph trident too, though I don't think it offers traction control. Last but not the least, test ride all the models before you arrive at buying decision. Hope you will get your desired ride soon.
No windshield , Wind buffeting should be the same on hypermotard, as hyper also don't have a wind shield. But wind buffeting is less on monster and streetfighter because of forward facing inclined semi aggressive driving position.
The red lights came on probably due to a rev limiter during engine break in (first 1,000km)?

What Riding mode were you in?
I was in 'urban' riding mode all the time..
There is no buffering because it’s “clean air”, no windshield to cause Buffeting.

Yes, I know there’s no windshield what I’m saying is there is no buffing because you have no windshield
