I had one installed professionally by utor services and I can’t thank them enough for telllinf me about it. They clean my air duct with Rotobrush machine and now. I felt my 28 years old home feels brand new .
Does this also protect from 2nd hand smoke. I have smoke coming into my HVAC from an attached neighbor (and it's not tobacco) and I am having to shut down my system to protect my children from exposure. Will your product work for this use?
I’m an HVAC technician, and I cannot recommend this enough to all my home owners. This has the best warranty in the game if installed by a professional at 7 years. All the bad reviews are from people who most likely installed it wrong. The Reme LED has to be wired in to turn on or off with airflow. The maintenance is very minimal, and the UV replacement is every 5 years, best in the game as well. It also has an ionizer that’s built into to it, and it will help your filters catch more dust, dust mites, reduce smells, and help with allergies. Highly recommended product, not biased, I base my option on real life reviews from my customers and the data that backs it up! I’m in the Austin area hmu
just got one of these units, i dont have sinus issues and i can already tell this product is the real deal, the house smells super clean very refreshing
Hi Jerry! Thank you for your inquiry. The Guardian QR+ has not yet been tested on SARS-CoV-2 so we can't make any claims at this point. We will be testing more of our product line and as we do, we will be posting updates.
Tested by who? The manufacturer.. or an independent 3rd party testing lab? And tested according to what protocol? And what was the attenuation of the room by itself, with no intervention?
Hi Lew! Testing was done by a 3rd party lab; Innovative Bioanalysis Laboratories in Cypress, California. You can read more about testing protocol here: rgf.com/rgf-environmental-group-study-reme-halo-inactivates-sars-cov-2-by-99-9/
1280 foot cubic is very smallThat is like a 15 x 11 room 8 foot tall and that unit is designed to do 2500 ft.² give it 8 foot high would make it 20,000 ft.³ so whatever they’re telling you it’s going to take at least 5 to 10 times as long to kill the virus and a large home. I’m a fan and I too sell them as well with my Company Cousins air in South Florida. I think it helps out a lot and it most certainly does a good job running for a few days but it ain’t gonna do nothing in a half an hour like they’re saying. It’s not snake oil or smoke and mirrors but it’s not a magic pill. I know it works but not a snap of a finger😎
Jerry, In our study, we positioned surface coupons in various areas inside the test chamber. We intentionally used a large chamber to better simulate a realistic room environment. The inactivation of the virus occurred on contact, but the time required to establish an equilibrium in the chamber was 45 minutes to an hour. A REME-HALO installed in a home HVAC system is designed to operate 24/7 - continuously. In a real-world situation, an equilibrium would already be established prior to the introduction of virus particles or other harmful microorganisms. If they were to be introduced, they would be inactivated immediately due to the high number of vapor Hydrogen Peroxide molecules already present in the environment. I hope this is helpful. Thank you, James Marsden, Ph.D.
I’m a hvac tech and have one installed my home and I will not live in another house without it. Outstanding product.
Same here!
I'm having my Remi Halo LED installed today. 😁
@@ConnieM. Did it get dustier for a few weeks? I had mine installed yesterday and my tech said it'll get dustier for a few weeks then get better
I’ve had mine for about two months and now smelling chlorine. I read that is ozone. Do I need to be concerned?

I read that on several different review sites. Its the LED one that's great for smokers according to what I read.
