Helllll no. You must be a man if you think a woman is dependent on those things for “happiness” because my peace and happiness is not having to deal with ANY of that. No cleaning up after a man child or kids. I do whatever I want whenever I want. My sleep is not interrupted. Just because she had ONE “moment” with her son does not mean she’s found that. Like all relationships you literally have no idea what happens behind closed doors. It’s called acting. 😂

Her version of “Edge of Seventeen” is actually my favourite cover of that song. I think they added some orchestral elements or something. If I am remembering it correctly. It really brought the song to life. I think I really enjoyed her voice and thought it fit well. I’m going to go listen to it now 😂 to confirm my recollections. Glad she’s doing well! My kids LOVE the parent trap- they were SHOOK when I started reciting the lines along with 95% of the movie. It’s such a great film that still stands the test of time- her son’s mind will be BLOWN AWAY when he realizes that his mom played BOTH twins 🤣 my kids were definitely shocked and demanded evidence that both girls were played by the same ONE person

My 6 & 8 yr. old girls also LOVE The Parent Trap! It warms my heart cuz it was a favorite of mine growing up too! My oldest watched Mean Girls & was a little shocked when I told her it was the same actress. 😊
I used to try to figure out which twin was which on the VHS cover as a kid… this was before I knew she played both parts 😂
My first time seeing the parent trap was when I was 10 and my best friend was leaving and going home to America so my mum went and rented me the video and it was the original version with Hayley Mills this version hadn't even been made but I love them both.

I cannot put into words how proud I am of her. I got to a point where I stopped holding my breath waiting for her to turn her life around and she goes and comes back stronger than I ever even imagined. Seeing her glowing and being a mom is so healing.

I think it's really healing when you come from a dysfunctional family to have your own children. Once you see what it's like, you realize how much your parents failed you. Even if they loved you, because of their problems, they dropped the ball. They didn't prepare you or strengthen you. Once I saw that for myself, I was able to forgive myself for making so many mistakes. I realized I as a person wasn't where the "bad" came from. May she be blessed and happy.
