Yup, this band is the epitome of everything I ever wanted out of music in general. I'm ecstatic you guys exist. Please continue to destroy my face/brain, thanks.
I remember when this video came out, it was just after the band had kind of come forward and announced a path out of the crash in Bath, England. I was so excited but it was also an uncertain time where I wondered if the band that had become my favorite ever would ever return to a stage or write another album. I struggled to imagine a world where I would return to a career path with risks that nearly ended my life and that career itself, and wondered how the hell John and Pete were going to pull that off. Here it is 11 years later and so much growth in my life and in this band have happened, and I am grateful John is still here and has found people who can help carry on this band's awesome sound. Also Pete if you are lurking out there, thank you for all the great shows in the mid 2010s!
Coolest musicians i've ever seen, i saw them this summer (1 month before the bus crash) and after the show, Peter Adams went down to the crowd and hugged us all, the amount of epicness was so damn high !
One of my favorite songs and bands. I'm excited because i think their sound has taken a new direction and has plenty of room to grow. Keep at it Baroness!
There was an anchor There was a silver-sweet refrain You tucked your fingers In between my troubled bones And what you did next was second to none You really let us down You tied yourself up and jumped in the sea Never to come home Valium You left me all alone Tell me when I will be whole again There was a whisper Once there were heralds and parades You sang your secrets Through the tolling of the tide The fugitive room, the amateur tombs The silence and the cries. The quickening beat, your march to the sea Never to return Sweet morphine You've taken all of me. Let me know when you will let me go Heroin Where did you take my friend? Tell me why those ropes are hanging high Valium You left me all alone
One of the few decent songs? These albums are brilliant. Epic. And in concert these guys blew me away, had never heard of them first time i saw em, was hooked.
Thanks Octane for introducing me to this kick ass band! I can't believe I've never heard of them until a few days ago. This is one of those songs that will fn grab ya and won't let go!
@ChrisHodge Yes Octane is the hard rock station on sirius. unclebimbo nailed it when it comes to the types of music Octane plays. One minute you are hit with Baroness and the next second it is Sick Puppies. I will def check out the Blue Record. I still can't believe that Baroness isn't all that well known yet. They hit ya hard. Just how I like it!
Octane is the hard rock station on sirius right? I listened to the metal station on sirius and thought it was god awful. Does Octane normaly play songs from bands of Baroness' calibur or is it an anomaly? Oh and if you like Baroness check out Blue Record, its their magnum opus in my opinion.

I can't believe it took me so long to find you guys. Baroness is everything I've ever wanted in a band. Thank you for existing.
I will never get tired of this song, it's the best song ever in the history of mankind!
Best drummer ever! Changes shirts every few seconds and never drops a beat! Insane!

There was an anchor
There was a silver-sweet refrain
You tucked your fingers
In between my troubled bones
And what you did next was second to none
You really let us down
You tied yourself up and jumped in the sea
Never to come home
Valium
You left me all alone
Tell me when I will be whole again
There was a whisper
Once there were heralds and parades
You sang your secrets
Through the tolling of the tide
The fugitive room, the amateur tombs
The silence and the cries.
The quickening beat, your march to the sea
Never to return
Sweet morphine
You've taken all of me.
Let me know when you will let me go
Heroin
Where did you take my friend?
Tell me why those ropes are hanging high
Valium
You left me all alone

I don't know how they went from the Red album to this commercial pop garbage.
