Very useful video! In my garden, I follow the principle using more formal and “neater” materials (stone, pavers) for pathways and borders closer to the residence. Likewise, pathways and borders farther into the garden gradually become more rough and primitive (grass, railroad ties). Finally, the edge of the garden is separated from purely wild woods by very simple (wood) materials such as logs.
Thank you for this video, I’m working on what kind of path will work for my home and this helps.
Glad it was helpful! Good luck on your projects!
Excellent video, Tessa - great footage and explanations of the design elements of paths in a great garden. ❤
Thank you, Lynn! I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

So glad to hear it. And it sounds like you have a wonderful garden!
I learned a lot. People sometimes overlook the need to create pathways in their gardens. Thank you so much.
I'm very glad to hear this! We all need a pathway or two in our gardens!
My garden is young but similar. I have a few videos of my garden on my channel. It’s a work in progress ❤
That sounds delightful! I'll have to go take a look; we can all learn from each other. XO
Thanks for sharing this! 💯❣️
You are so welcome; thanks for watching!
