    I bought my Northstar Phoenix about 5 months ago and I have had out it out several times and I absolutely love it. It's my 5th canoe and my favorite. Enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing.

      Thank you for watching! I am in love with mine as well. I'll never get rid of it! I have it set up for seated paddling at the moment because of my knee injury but I'd really like to be able to kneel and keel it over a bit.

    Awesome Canoe! Best of luck with it ! As much as I love traveling a little bit to find new places to paddle...my favorite part is coming back home to our rivers and waterways here is Southeastern Mass and RI and realizing it's as beautiful here where we live as anywhere ive been...we are lucky ...enjoy it !

      Thank you! Yes I am really enjoying getting to know local waters better. There are some super pretty paddles that I didn't know existed. However, I still prefer my remote up north stuff. Lol. Just not the driving part!

      She does, though she isn't designed with speed in mind I believe. Mostly designed for someone who is better than me in moving water lol. The speed she does have over you're average boat is just a huge bonus. A lot of fun to paddle, tough, and perfect to tight and windy corners

      Thank you! Man I'd love to make it out there some time. I was close...rode 4600 miles to Cali on my motorcycle before I got hit. Next leg of the trip was up the coast to your area. :(

      You'll have to come over and see it. Especially the Columbia River Gorge, my personal favorite and then the Mountains. The Cascade Volcanoes are all worth checking out

      @@DoubleADay Thanks for the insight. I will try to look up some content on it. It probably isn't something I would be able to make happen soon but eventually I would like to. Cross country travel is expensive these days lol

    Definitely racoon tracks! Otter is interesting - looks almost like a cat with claws slightly extended.

    • @projectknifehand
      @projectknifehand  2 месяца назад

      Yeah just thinking out loud. I can recall distinct differences with otter tracks I have seen. Pretty much knew it when I said that I'm just never 100 percent certain. Or at least I try not to sound like I am. I've seen both along our water ways here. Though not many otters :(

    I can feel the frustration of that fish you didn't catch

    When I saw that heartbreaking thumbnail earlier, I thought for sure something happened to the canoe. Glad it was safe, sorry about the fish. Now you know where it lives so you can return to catch him proper another time instead of accidently foul hooking him.

    • @projectknifehand
      @projectknifehand  2 месяца назад +1

      Yeah I changed that thumbnail because I'm not about the clickbait like some channels are. I realized it could be taken that way so I took it down.
