- I've decided to make another TAS of my favorite character in the game. Enjoy!
Thanks for 1k subs, everyone! This means a lot to me and I'm really happy to see so many people enjoying my TASes of this game.
This TAS uses a modified version of ROM. The only things altered in it are color palettes of characters and the HUD. Otherwise, it is the same as the regular game.

The main difference I see between the two DIOs is the Stand usage. Shadow's attacks are instantaneous, meanwhile, DIO actually uses his stand.
There are many more differences in the way the attacks work aswell. For example dios 5c launches while sdios is used in his loop.

@David Bowie straight up no. DIO's most basic combo's take an insane amount of practice to master. Maybe you can string some things together if you're just mashing buttons but if you wanna pull off proper combos then you better take a year off work to practice.
There's also the fact where Shadow Dio hasn't known how to fully utilise his stand, so he uses moves he's familiar with like his laser eyes from Phantom Blood.

He didn't "Struggle", he was merely copying the opponent's movements.

Shadow DIO in this game is like Dr. Mario in Smash. Alternate versions of already playable characters that I'm never gonna understand what the hell they were thinking by making them things that you can play as that are separate characters, which is why I love them so.

I would even expect Part 1 Dio getting in over him but we have Shadow DIO who in Jojo canon is just DIO without Joseph's blood like the other playable DIO

Yeah. CPU characters in this game cheat in every was possible. He can do it with just one bar, though if he had more it'd consume the second one as well.
I mean, can you blame him? He's being shit on by a version of himself that doesn't even summon his own stand to use to its fullest extent.

i think its because there is a delay, first, with one bar, the hair does damage, then the sparkles take another bar and home into the opponent

It's not, although in others I usually only take a single hit to either allow a damage boost combo or because it utilizes a glitch I cannot do at full health.
