I definitely like the decision to bundle all of the superchats at the end. I like hearing what the crew has to say about all the different topics people bring up, but having them all in one place is really nice for the overall flow of the episode.

Gotta call out a couple things glossed over imho on Space Wolves, they have a lot of unit flexibility, they can plug terminators and mini characters into each unit. Not to mention a lot of flexibility with their unit load outs. Wolf guard Termies can take pretty much anything, a lot of their specialized units get increased body counts
Best thing about the csm index isn't even the csm, it's the mortals and deamon engines. 120 cultists for 660 points, give some 5++ invun with dark commune, accursed cultists, traitor guard, beastmen etc etc making it near impossible for non specialised armies to kill that many bodies during the game and some forge friends, allied knights and deamons as well

I am proud to say that I do not have a single space marine. If I did then I would go for Lamentors (the real heroes of the Imperium), Black Dragons (boney bits) or Carcharodons (not who you want to see in orbit). I play Necrons (I like tomb spiders and most destroyer models) and Tau (I want daka and fear painting orks).

I'm a newcomer to 40k and dont know which army to choose.... They talk very well about each army but then I look for current status and balance and seems too much unblanaced but some armies. I dont know which one to choose because i dont know if GW is going to destroy a faction in a future while now is good for example. I like DG but here they speak well about it and then in so much sites they tell otherwise. I don´t know what to do... Is a shame
Thankfully they make balance data slates every quarter. The next one is coming in September so not long now! While we don’t know the content we do know their goal is to actually balance the game. Hopefully DG will get some love
Any chance at elaboration as to why ya'll would say Chaplains fit extra well with Black Templar's? Chaps just give +1 to wound and the no Shock once per battle thing. While +1 to wound is good its not better than adding Helbrecht, Grimaldus, a Judiciar, or a Marshal Castellam combo imo. Or was the Chaplain comment more about the lore of Black Temps?
I think its more of a comment on lore but chaplains are actually a really solid option for templars. They tend to have a TON of low strength attacks so a +1 to wound can do quite a lot for a unit of crusaders.
Im returning to 40k after a few years of not playing, I really want to play again but cant decide between my favorite 3 primarchs, Magnus, Angron and Lion el Johnson. Anyone have any tips or suggestions on which arm/primarch would be best for 10th edition? Money is tight so I have to choose one army wisely. Dark Angels or World Eaters or Thousand Sons. Please help me decided, they all look cool to me.
World Eaters is probably the cheapest cost wise dark angels gets expensive when fleshing your various wings out. And thousand sons is expensive because of the way games workshop made the unit sizes compared to how they sell them. Still a problem from 9th. Im currently completing my world eaters army and they do have shooting options however its terminators or vehicles so start with the combat patrol and angron and that should get you to a decent army size and you can flesh it out as money provides.
Listening to you go over Space Wolves and your comments on them gave me no help in actually how to play them. I already knew their special rules and how they work. Now that fight phase is nerfed and units aren't as punchy wanted to hear how 10th has changed Space Wolves. Title is kinda click bait and should be more a preview of each army and how they work. As a bronze member you have access to our discord server where you can access all the Space Marine channels that we have. In there is a Death watch channel and those players can give you a good sense of the subfaction at the moment. The War Room will certainly help you become a better Adeptus Astartes player in general, specifically Death watch doesn't have a ton of coaching games so if you wanted to focus on Black Spear content post-September I would look at doing our expert list design on theartofwar40k.com where you can get tailored advice based on your playstyle and collection. Then you could always decide if going up to personalized coaching is worth it.

Grey Knights playstyle. Bounce around the table. Kill nothing with Psychic weapons. I've been playing Deamonhunters since inception. They have 1 unit and 1 enhancement that even says Deamon. So, no longer Deamon specialists. Our Terminators are equal to durability to EVERY other Terminator. Our power armor units, all 3 of them, get 2+ saves. Things that kill marines. Kill us too. 16% increase to 0AP weapons basically. But sure, "more durable." Oh, we can't wound tanks short of rolling 6s. You think melee is better at that. Nope S6... tanks, still 6s. And Storm Bolters got nerfed.

Tau playstyle in 10th: Just forfeit my dude. You're going to lose anyways, just give up and go get a burger or something. Been playing Tau since their release in 2001, over 20 years. I can say without a doubt that 10th is a disaster for Tau. I understand lethality got toned down for everyone, but when your faction only has one phase of combat, any nerf to shooting is multiplied. Broadsides are useless, Riptides are useless, Fire Warrior Strike teams are useless, Fusion Blasters are useless. Tau only have 4 ''good'' units in 10th; Crisis teams led by a Coldstar Commander with Exemplar of the Kauyon, Breacher teams led by a Fireblade inside Devilfish, Piranhas and Shadowsun. That's it! Ghostkeel's are alright, but their only purpose is to be a damage sponge and Observer for Shadowsun.
So early in to an edition and already bowing out? This is not advice for the greater good, have faith blue one, there are dark forces salivating over your weakness.

Especially with how shitty the imperium is, not to mention chaos. Drukhari aren't bad in the grand scheme of the universe. Plus the Aeldari generally keep them from doing anything that would mess up the future, like when Eldrad saved the emperor from the Drukhari
Please stop using race where you should use pecies. For example when referring to Aeldari, necrons, Orks, or votan. They are different species or sub species of humans in the case of votan. Species and race are definitely not the same thing

Dark Angels have so much flexibility that if you like the Lion you can go from there.
