This kit is mounted following the guidelines set forth by the manufacturer, practical locations and the experience of my staff. Traffic officers will usually aim towards the license plate at a distance of 1500 to 750ft for the most accurate reading and stay within the legal guidelines. While laser detection is legal in California, diffusing a laser radar gun is highly illegal and your car might end up in the impound if you get caught with a kit, hence the stealth location of the diffusers.
The laser shifters will not work there. 1) Way too far from headlamps where the LEO will shoot laser 2) Too much recessing - the heads need a clear view of road - not tucked back like that. Looks cool, but will not protect the car at all
you know whats worse than a stealth location for the diffusers? A false sense of security. This guy paid 2600 or so for a system that will perform well against radar but is utterly useless against lidar. A blind man with a PL3 could get a punchthrough on this setup.

Man the Weekend Confirmed music made me really nostalgic and sad :(
