I mean $63k is a lil out of my price range n I can't imagine what I'd need a crane for, but I want one lol

It’s out of my price range too. I will say it’s probably priced very well. Easily half what others charge. Cranes are incredibly expensive. I thing partly because there’s so much manufacturer liability. I think getting ensured to produce them is probably enormous. I don’t need one like that. I need one that mounts on a truck bed. I have a cheapo $700 manual Jack crane on my truck right now. It’s only a 1 ton but that’s at its shortest configuration which is only about 55 inches or so. So usually when I lift something that heavy, it’s too bulky to clear the side of my truck. The heaviest I’ve lifted onto my truck is my Miller engine drive welder which is about 600 pounds plus the cage I built around it for protection. That’s another 200 pounds plus fuel. About an 850 pound lift. My butthole puckers when I have to do that. That’s gonna change when I buy an XH42D. I have a backhoe I normally use for stuff like that but sometimes I have it at a job site and have to use the pathetic truck crane.

You should look into seeing if that company can make truck mounted cranes. I’ve been wanting one for years but their like 20k. You know like the Lift-moors and stuff? I can’t even touch a used one pulled off at a junkyard for under 9k. I’d need one that mounts low enough on my flatbed where I can still tow a gooseneck trailer. I’ll be getting one of your XH42D excavators this year. How badass would that be to be going down the highway with a KYMRON excavator and KYMRON Crain? Plan B is to build one myself. I’ve already drawn up plans but all I could build is one that raises and extends hydraulically. The rotation would have to be manual because that’s above my skill level.

Also, in the thumnail it looks like theres a gauge on the side of the boom, perhaps to let the user know max lift capacity based on how far the boom is extended

@@Canam-vh3ob is it? It's hard to tell n he didn't mention it. But I definitely think it needs a gauge that shows what the max lift capacity is in relation to how far the boom is extended

I run cranes for a living usually there will be a computer screen if not a chart for how much boom u have out and ur radius or boom angle to know how much u can pick. Very standard for a broderson or a picker crawler cranes also have a boom angle indicator on side of boom
