First of all, thank you for all of your sweet comments from the past couple of weeks, and I thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers in light of the passing of my Grandmother. She was an amazing woman.
I know that the Holidays are coming up, and I am (of course) going to be doing some Christmas covers! If you have a song in mind that you'd like me to play, please comment below!
"Dreams" is a song by Fleetwood Mac from their eleventh studio album Rumours (1977). In the United States, "Dreams" was released as the second single from Rumours on March 24, 1977, while in the United Kingdom it was released as the third single in June 1977.

I'm 61 now - still don't know how that happened. I remember when this song came out and it was the first time I began to understand human nature. Music has been a big part of my life, and I couldn't help but sing along w/ you. I have 5 kids and the first grand daughter is coming in a few weeks. I sing w/ my 3 daughters and look forward to sharing music w/ her too.

Allison is one of my favorite singers. She is from another place. She is absolutely fantastic!

I sincerely disagree. She has so much innocent talent, natural gifts from on high. The sheer evil of the satanic music industry is not anything I'd ever want any pure artists such as Miss Young here fall victim to. That industry chews up talent and destroys it, corrupts it, and devours artists whole. I would sincerely hope she stays independent and that she'll stay sheltered from the filth of the mainstream music industry.

That was hauntingly beautiful. This girl sings with so much heart. There's a lot of subtle texture to her voice and she knows how to use it. This song is perfect for her.

I don't think she was trying to "emulate" Stevie Nicks. She made the song her own, and it was terrific. It's actually the first time I clearly heard the lyrics.

This version preserves the soul of the original and flickers it back to us in a wistful, melancholy light. I might love Allison's version better than the original. Thanks for this.

How refreshing! A young lady singing without the breathy, cutesy tone that has become popular, choosing to work the melody in an honest way and give it a little personalization with restrained power just as it was written and performed by Stevie. Very nice, I enjoyed that a lot. 👍

I was and am a fleetwood mac fan from way way back. it is hard to cover such a big hit that was performed by the original group so well, with that said, YOU KILLED IT!! Beautiful song, beautiful voice, beautiful young lady, holy smokes!! That was magnificent!!!

You did this in GarageBand? You got an *awesome* sounding mix. I could hear it all, so excellent eq, separation creates space but vocal blending creates air. Just a round of applause for your ear & engineering skill. The song, as usual, was a great blend of respecting the song and also making it your own. You walk that line very well. You choose the right songs for your style. That’s a knack not everyone has. I’m a fan.
It is nice you feel the music. Some people sing the words but don't relate the "feeling" you relate the feeling. That probably comes from being hurt.

I have to say this was a beautiful cover of Dreams… And you should be proud. Personally, I think Fleetwood Mac and Stevie were so perfect in their productions it’s all but impossible to beat their performances. So I will simply say, while I still prefer Fleetwood Mac Dreams, I would happily listen to this one as well. And I, personally, think that is still high praise to you, Allison.

Wonderful. I've just learned Never Going Back Again on guitar, what a fun song to play. You have to have your thumb and fingers on different rhythms but the music adds up beautifully.
