THE TIME HAS FINALLY COME!!!
Our debut record on the 'Discothèque Tropicale' label has been 2 years in the making, but it's finally ready to pre-order and stream to your heart's content!
We could not have hoped for a better record for this debut release and it's truly a pleasure to once again share the wonderful zouk music of Guadeloupe's 'Manix'.
You can expect excellent global distribution from our partner Rush Hour, but there are also a small batch of limited edition pink vinyl (à la Discothèque Tropicale) which you can pre-order from our bandcamp! The record comes with 5 killer tracks! The A side consists of 3 originals (Voyager, Tanguy and Naufrage) while the B side is one for the DJs... with 2 dancefloor ready killer edits by our good friend, Dijon's 'Under Radaar'.
Support for this one has been mind blowing and we've seen many of our favourite DJs use both the "voyager" and "detimo" edits to great effect! This includes Antal, Hunee, Palms Trax, Barbara Boeing, Poly Ritmo, Dar Disku to name a few!
Shoutout to our friend and supremely talented artist 'Julian Tapales' for his excellent work with the artwork for this record. Adapted from the original with our own unique spin (which diehard fans might recognise from several of the posters for our parties in London), we think it looks beautiful and can't wait to hold the record in our hands!
We greatly appreciate your patience and want to give a huge thank you to anyone supporting this release by buying the record, digital files, or even just enjoying streaming and listening to the music. Thank you - and hopefully this is just the first of many.
