I would not have thought that the final experiment would be that… But this is practically more chaotic than any other challenges. The devs really exceeded expectations with this

It's the best game ending I've ever seen. Scientist 2 is, in his own crazy way a likable character, and to see him come back, blast the ants with science equipment, use EXPLOSIVES to buy time and become basically an ant zerg, all in an otherwise educational game that takes itself somewhat seriously is such a great way to wrap things up. From what I've seen the challenge isn't particularly hard even on higher difficulties, but the reason is simply the ants having come so far that freeplay-type enemy spam doesn't phase them, and the story is absolutely 10/10.

This was a twist I don’t think any of us were expecting. The scientist got what he deserved though, his obsession with ants drove him into joining our swarm. It’s a win win.

The scientist literally turn into something straight out of resident evil i didnt expect the final experiment will be like this. This game definitely worth the price. Who would have known a game about ants can be scary?
My thought process right in this comment
A pro tip: the more ants you have in a single pheromone marker the more it makes the ants have a delayed reaction with some ants not moving at all, so make sure to split up the ants between pheromone markers 1 thru 5,
a sweet spot i found is 30 ants per marker, it makes the ants move a lot faster instead of havung 40 ants just hanging around in the old marked spot
out of all the things, i did not expect EOTU lore to end(?) with scientist 2 becoming an ant creature abomination

I’ve been playing this game since the wood ants got introduced and I never thought a game about controlling ants would transform into mutating man into ant hybrids. Shame it was the end I want it to carry on

you use to be able to save edit your game to get ants like the wood cutter soldiers or army ant majors, it’s interesting to see them kinda implement that into the base game with you getting all playable ant casts (minus workers)

Just completed this absolute monster of a challenge. Hell it was stressful AND very cool. Really happy to see the end of campaign being like that.
Even tho my frames dropped to 4-5 sure am hoping more content like this will come in the future!

I think it was a little too easy but otherwise a great final mission. It would also have been cool to fight another mutant with the scientist on your side. Maybe during the explosion a mutant creature trapped inside a glass got free and starts attacking the hive right near the end after you get the scientist on your side and you would have to hit the creature at certain glowing spots to stop it from devastating the colony.
Just played it through, and god is it stressful! I didn’t watch the vid when it came out cause i didn’t want to spoil the Final Experiment for myself :) great vid as always and i’m hoping you’ll make more EotU content ❤❤❤

Hi Mantz can u in the next freeplay play as matable ants against 2 termite colonies (both in the same team) and against leafcutter ants also set upkeep off and cavern resources to max and cavern dangers to minimum

I have a force that’s 3x the size of yours in this video. I’m collecting close to one million jelly as well. But towards the end all of my ants die including my queen. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong
Are you buying immunity to the machines? If not they'll kill all your ants. Also if all of your ants are underground the scientist gets angry and kills them so keep them outside of the nest
Did you stockpile food?
Also make sure to have at least 12 workers to replace eggs
I can’t beat it, on easy even he hits the glass after I gather the second batch of jelly and kills my ants, I don’t know how to survive just that lol.
I had that too I think it happens if your ants are in the nest so keep them in the surface
