I feel like you have "unlocked" in my head what Ableton is "supposed to be." I used to get so stuck playing around with various instruments and effects, plodding with notes on my keyboard, and struggling with endless music theory lessons. I would draw patterns manually on the piano roll, never really be satisfied with anything, and then ultimately feel that I had wasted a few hours of my life and go back to video games. You are so, so good at using Ableton to create powerful, complex musical idea generators. The racks you make always seem to enable a creative flow where you can rapidly iterate until you find that golden sound. I'm having fun with Ableton all over again since the first time I purchased it back when it was Live 9 thanks to you. This channel is a hidden gem for now, but will definitely be going big places soon.
I'm very grateful to have read your comment. Thanks so much! Very glad I could inspire you :)
I follow a lot of ableton channels and music production tips but this channel offers more in depth free tools! good job! thanks a lot
This channel is a gem. Enough said
You've cracked the Seb Leger arp enigma with zero analogue gear. This is awesome.
originally what I was thinking
Over the mooooooon! Been thinking about doing sth like this for years so happy you had a way to. ❤
Sooooo amazing. Tickles my brain and my soul. Imagine just hitting record and jamming like you do in that Second Live section. Ambient goodness.
Very inspiring. Thanks 🙏
very good tutorial, this opens up so many possibilities.
Thanks!
Thanks🤩
Loving this. Thanks for the videos, simple explanations and inspiring content. 😊
Very Sebastien Legerish! Nice find. Btw your thumbnails always crack me up. You're such a goof haha
Cheers man 😄
As always thanks for all the great info and plugins! Greetings from Mexico!
Awesome ❤
DOPE!
Thats dope!!!🔥🔥🔥
Brilliant!
Great thanks. Negative values per step would also be great
I've been trying to figure something like this out for weeks but only have Live 11 Intro. Something like this was possible using sampler but would have cost me the same price again just for the add-on. Thank you so much for saving me the time and money your videos are invaluable.
Super, thanks so much, really inspiring
Soo good! Very interesting thank you! The new ableton version looks soo good! Scale Lock is a game changer! :O
Gracias, mil gracias
Your Tuts are super doper useful and nerdy
I've done similar stuff with Rack And cardinal But this is super awesome and shows creativity+the power of ableton 💚🙏🏻🕉️
Creativity: Taking Known elements and putting them together in different ways .
Thanks for your comment! :)
A really nice and simple way to add more depth, thank you!
Thanks for your comment :)
Hi Kevin. A very interesting plugin and interaction with the melody. Thanks 🤗👍
Glad you like it!
Great tutorial, thanks man!
Glad you enjoyed!
Wonderful
Thank you! Cheers!
no, thank you, bro. you've given me a new lease of energy to make music again@@lotustunesacademy
I can only echo what has been said by @Tehsiets just before. What a hidden gem this channel is. You bring out creativity to its best! Many thanks for all you do for the music community! Quick question however. I m still running ableton 10. I did put the scale plugin instead of the native scale lock of Beta 12 (don't want to download it yet until it s a full release)... However I can't seem to scale lock the pitch device like you do around 5.20min as I am not in Beta 12... I am assuming I just copy the dorian scale device which I added after the arpeggiator but when dropping it after a pitch, it doesn't seem to pitch it correctly and I can 't seem to match the settings.... Any help? Oh and I forgot; any chance we can get a hold of your dreamy second live demonstration sound & chain? It just sounds soooo 'all day I dream' magical! Keep up the good work!
Could you try a Bonobo inspired tutorial bro? Something lik Age of Phase or Migration? Thank you!
Does 12 have a stock luffs meter like Swiss army Meter?
Is scale lock something in ableton 12? can't remember seeing it in mine
really nice trick brother! buuut i dont get it to work in my ableton 11 Standard.. I have the latest version. You know what can be wrong, maybe i need suite? Btw thanks for all your videos, i learn a lot 🤓🙏
Thanks man! Darn. It looks like it might only be for suite :/
@@lotustunesacademy Damn 😝 that's to bad because I really would have done this a lot 🤓 well maybe need to upgrade to suite at some point along the road sooo I save your video 😉 thanks again 🙏
I was fiddling with the ableton arpeggiator. I didn't hear much difference between these
yes that is "nerdy" i guess... 🙂
