I have a master set but what I considered a master master set includes everything like non holo rares from the theme deck, non holo mew from build and battle, prerelease + staff and promo's such as toys r us charmander and electabuzz etc. It's quite hard to accomplish mainly because of cost and the non holo mew is almost nonexistant.
I'm on the same page man! Evolutions is my favorite modern set. I am about 75-80% done completing it. And I am also completing a [regular] set. I don't really see the point of getting 2-3 of the same cards. Once I am done completing Evolutions, I will complete Base Set which I'm about 60% done with.

We need to start different variants… Master sets should only include the entire set and all reverses Then a completionist set where all cards that don’t come in packs promo cards, collection box, cards, etc are included.
I agree. I have almost all variants besides the 1st thru 4th mews, pre release and the championship energies. But yea, master should be all variants. It carries the set number.
I have a complete master set of XY Evo, and Sword&Shield base set (Including all reverse holos). Working on getting a master set of every set from XY Primal Clash to the current sets that come out. I only need 3 more cards for Darkness Ablaze, 5 for Champions Path, and about 20 or less for a few other sets like Rebel Clash, Sun&Moon base, Crimson Invasion, and Shining Legends. Most of what i need is the reverse holos and secret rares.
Forgot to mention, but not only do i have a master set binder in the works for every set dating back to XY Primal Clash (34 binders/sets in total), but i also have a binder for a master set of all Black Star Promos from the Sword&Shield era (95% complete), Sun&Moon era (50% complete), and X&Y era. And i also have a binder for all Alt Art Promo cards/tournament cards/and specialty cards.

I have a complete base set, jungle and fossil combined and placed by their Pokédex numbers to form a 151 collection. All the cards are mint (pack fresh). All the base set cards are unlimited, while the jungle and fossil cards are all 1st editions. Fortunately I built the collection 10+ years ago when prices weren't crazy.. Should get them graded tho!
I would love to complete this set but i don't wanna spend so much on the charizard base set reprint. So I am completing Sun and Moon base set master set and a Battle Styles master set.

Just completed battle styles. Super hard to complete but it was fun and super happy it’s finally done. Trying to get all the reverse holo on this set. I prefer reverse holos over regular holos. Hopefully I don’t go broke doing it.

And I’m half way through a base unlimited set again cause I did it when I was a kid but lost / sold most of it so it’s fun to do again! I would say 100%! Do base unlimited right now even graded if you want because prices are super low!! I got a PSA 9 base set Zapdos for $87 and a PSA 9 Alakazam for $110!

I pulled way to much of this set I have 5 full master sets, reverse and Holo and non Holo all breaks and all Pre-Release and staff cards including 1st - 4th mews and promos and championship energy cards and the cracked ice cards. Glad I picked up the non pull stuff up before the hype.
I know it’s a revamped or reimagined version of base set but I mean come on…I think it should be priced with like Vivid voltage or shining fates and those sets are just as dope IMO

I have steam seige complete. I really liked the set of but the pull rates for me were garbage. 18 packs and only 5 holos and nothing else.
