Remediation of the NVF Yorklyn Site

Remediating the former National Vulcanized Fibre (NVF) manufacturing facility in Yorklyn, Delaware, next to the scenic Red Clay Creek, is pretty big job. See how the Division of Waste & Hazardous Substances is tackling it.

The NVF site is a part of the new Auburn Valley State Park. You can visit and look at the exterior of the remaining buildings, but please don't try to enter them. Parts of the site are active construction areas, please avoid them as well.
