  • Heading to Banff and wondering where you should ski? If you have an IKON Pass it includes up to seven days of riding at the SkiBig3 resorts of Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise, and Mt. Norquay. Which should you go to?
I visited all three and give a short review of each as well as some recommendations to maximize your time on snow during your visit.
Be sure to check out my review of the Sunshine Mountain Lodge as well. A ski in/ski out hotel in the upper village at Sunshine that you have to ride a gondola to get to. • Ride a ski lift to you...

Totally agree with you. I'm a beginner and just got back from all three. I would never do Norquay again. Sunshine and Louise are amazing for beginners with my preference being Sunshine.

Louise is a better resort but longer drive. Louise is better if there is snow, Sunshine is better if there is lack of snow (icy conditions). I personally like Sunshine more because it is closer.
