The Tournament had cool moments for sure, but it felt like the most filler-arc ever. This fight wasn’t anything that magnificent either. People just overhype it because of Goku’s flashy new form. Kefla and almost everything that came from her mouth was pure cringe.
Kefla: You can’t dodge in mid air!
Goku: Hold my Hetap.
TFS Goku: I get it!
Kefla: You can't dodge in mid-air
Goku: Hold my plot-armour, plot power and plot convenience.

(after realized that flying and moving in mid air was a common things in dragonball universe)

The moment when the Father Son Kamehameha finally got surpassed in scale of execution, and general epicness. This is my most favorite Kamehameha ever, and to this day it still gives me the same goosebumps as it did all those years ago!

Let it sink in that Goku is the only one to force a fusion to unfuse by actually *breaking* their Potara.
It's been shown that potara earrings aren't that tough to break. In the buu saga Vegeta shattered the potara earrings multiple times just by slightly clenching his fist. I'm actually stunned that nobody ever tried breaking Zamasu's earrings to defeat him, it was the most obvious solution.
@@TheMightySpurdo Let me rephrase myself. He's the first person to break the earrings while they're on someone. I'm guessing that the earrings take on the strength of the fusion when they're used or something because otherwise it would be pretty easy to counter.

@@dd-bk7nd that's not as cool or as flashy but the father son Kamehameha was my fave as well. Much more impactful and emotional since it was goku's spirit guiding Gohan to kill cell. Sounds kinda evil when you put it like that lol

@luandanis3133 well it's probably a personal opinion, everything leading up to gokus final roar is better in this video, but the original roar is infinitely more powerful, idk why they edited it to be different when the deeper lower sound just works a lot better

No matter how many times I see this part of the fight that roar as he let's the Kamehameha blast go still excites me. It is by far the best Kamehameha of the entire series. It was an epic finish to an amazing fight between 2 incredibly powerful Saiyians.

I think the Universe 6 Saiyans would have been a much better rival to Goku and Vegeta than Jiren. We had their entire plotline set up and had much more time dedicated to them as a whole. Not to mention it would've been such a badass moment for Vegeta to go down fighting fellow saiyans (albeit from a different universe) thus proving even further that they have the capacity to overcome limits beyond what they could've imagined. Besides, we didn't get enough time with Jiren and his crew to really care about them as much as we did the Universe 6 Saiyans. I'm convinced that the Pride Troopers (especially Jiren) are a response to the DB vs Justice League debate. A final fight similar to this where Goku takes down the saiyans that we've come so far to know and love would've been a much better payoff in my opinion.
