Sad, late 90's - early 2000's trance was, and still is, among the peak electronic music. Trance had already peaked by 2001 when this was released, it started to fade from the main stream by around 2002/2003 I reckon. I would say there were two main titans of dance music back then, Garage and Trance. I was always into Trance. And tunes like this were the reason why. Garage never really gave you the energy rush that trance did, I think the only Garage track that stands out in my mind from back then is Shanks and bigfoot's 'sweet like chocolate'. Back then however, I could say with assured certainty that every other Trance track released was a classic. Trance in my honest opinion will never die.
Garage was utterly dreadful stuff. Or at least, the UK garage scene was. It became an extension of the whole hip-hop/r & b scene rather than the offshoot of house that it was originally.

I prefer 'Drifting away', but I suppose everyone's taste is different when it comes to individual preference. He was just one of a vast number of producers of classic Trance though, from an incredible era in the genre's history.
Epic tune still sounds as good today as the day I heard it. Lange is a top bloke as well nice guy his live sets are always excellent. Also does sets on twitch Fridays 8pm (UK time) What a genius

Whenever I'm with my brother when we go to the Highway to Haul Ass and do 150 ~ 200mph runs, we always listen to trance music like this. While passing vehicles at 150mph upwards, They look like traffic cones. Reality really leaves ya whenever all you want to do is go just a tiny bit faster. It's crazy, Risking it all just to go even faster. All while having the Trance music to take you away into a different world.

Mauro Picotto Iguana, New Time New Place and Pandoro are good ones aswell

For someone who discovered trance in my high school years like 2009 onwards I can honestly say that after listening to the genre for over 15 years the older stuff 2010 and before is simply gold. While there are good tracks created post 2010 more hit the soul before that year. So old school trance wins . My only regret is that I didn't start to listen to it sooner.
The only think I don't like is not being able to see the label, I would love to start or end with a zoom of the label for the stopped record. Other than that, wonderful.

This is my first time listening to this jewel, what a track! This channel is my main source for discovering more amazing music. Crazy to think I was only 9 when this came out and at the time I had no idea what trance was, just listened to some songs my neighbor used to blast, and enjoying while I played in the yard with my little brother. To me, trance is the bliss and carefree nature of childhood.

Thank you so much for sharing your records on here, I have found it impossible to find these beautiful classic pieces of music in their entirety... I only have these on Compilation CDs and are just way too short as it's not the complete track . You have a stunning setup there with your technics turntable and mixer and it sounds better than if I located the records myself and played them on my Denon turntable paired with my Cambridge amp and Wharfdale speakers . Just incase RUclips removes them I have downloaded them for when no longer available.
