Out standing video of instructions to use on C4D to create a simple every day coffee mug - and I've learnt C4C all over again in one lesson!!! Many thanks
You deserve youtube award of the year. TNice tutorials video truly nails it! Very well explained... The way you cut the bullsNice tutorialt and get straight to it..
while you using the bridge tool dont forget the press shift button which is worked for me. otherwise i couldnt do it. thank you so much for the tutorial. it helped a lot.
I play with perspective a lot (option+mouse in Mac) and messed up with the perspective ended up having it skewed or distorted too much and can't back to the default perpendicular axis. Do you know a shortcut to fix this?? like pressing S for the frame to the object? Thank you for the lecture!!
Does Cineversity have a book that would go with the videos-to teach this program from ground up? I know people who are 10-15 years into C4D who are still struggling with it, due to the lack of an “authoritative” software teaching guide. A written and illustrated one.
Thanks for the tutorial! but I followed ALL the steps, and when I tried to export as FBX, it just won't show the materials nor the SDS, it looks like polygons in the FBX file :( can you help me out?
In my attempt several things went wrong. The loops I cut were not evenly spaced which caused my 2nd set of handle extrudes' inner edge no longer connected to the outer edge of the 1st set. One was too low and the other too high. Also I made the handle on the wrong place, which I could have avoided if the reference image would have been visible in the 3d view. I just wonder if it would have been better to create a 2nd 3d object: a donut, moved that into the cyllinder, fused it together and then extrude a top inner circle down.
Honestly once explained it's fairly intuitive. Thank you for breaking it down so nicely for us newbies! Can't wait to play with the full version
I'm passing my 3d modeling class because of these videos! They are so helpful for filling in the gaps of our very outdated textbook.
