Reynan Dos Santos - FIBA U-18 Americas Highlights

The reigning MVP of South America made another continental splash by carrying Brazil's hopes on his back to a runner-up performance in Tijuana, Mexico. The Uber-explosive guard (2004 - SG - 6'4) was selected once again as a member of the All-Tournament Team on consecutive FIBA events.
Currently developing at Sesi Franca, the Brazilian NBB powerhouse and current league champions, Reynan averaged 16.6 PPG good for 4th best mark overall. He carried a big offensive bulk and wasn't as sharp from the field (37% FG), but scored double digits in five of the six games played including a 28-point outburst vs Canada. Collectively, he contributed with 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.5 blocks and 1.3 steals per contest. Dos Santos has an impressive physical profile, boasting bounce and an elite first step easily among the best in his class globally, that allows him to get downhill almost at will. The lefty scorer puts a lot of pressure on the defense with his relentless aggressiveness, and has to even harness it to be more effective. Reynan has a developing jump shot, and the necessary on-ball traits to become an impactful defender all while improving his handle with his off-hand. He has penciled himself as a 2004-born prospect to monitor closely moving forward.
