What happened to the rest of this episode?? This suddenly cut off after 10 minutes, and today you've gone straight to episode 2... Was this a mistake you haven't yet picked up?
i'm scottish but live in south england.i've seen still game it's brill! last ep was emotional. did you see the programme after the last ep that took place in a hall on location where the cast talked about the show?
Glad you got on to Series 2. This is very much the series that created the mould of Blackadder as the scheming 'leader' and Baldrick as his hapless sidekick. Each one is rich with humour and bears many repeated viewings. "Kate..it's short for ...Bob" still makes me laugh every time.
Back when BA 2 first aired it was very common to have similar cheesy adverts on constantly for all sorts of CDs and CD collections on the commercial TV channels - this is what they are making fun of when Lord Blackadder & young "Bob" are taking their romantic strolls around the park accompanied by these advert texts for all sorts of old and weird songs. 😂
@@KMuppet21 Fgs, stop being such a baby. He only posts in sections for copyright reasons which you should have known already. You seem to think I'm his representative and have to give you the full information because it's my job? Btw, whatsoever is one word.
Yes, it's 10 minutes for me. Only half the episode is here. I think it's a mistake. This was almost a whole day ago now, and his part uploads always say "Part 1" etc in the title and/or thumbnail. It's weird that not many people are mentioning it though.
Why he has to 'jump about' and not just do them all in order really annoys me... I too thought he was enjoying series 1 and was just going to follow the series through!? It was bad enough when Connor only watched 'best of vids' of Fawlty Towers and had to be persuaded to watch the WHOLE episodes in order... SMH!
I bet none of you got the joke of the 'girl' pretending to be a boy called 'BOB', that's what we call a person who looks masculine but you aren't sure if its male or female, its short for 'Bird Or Bloke'
I hope you watch them all to the last episode of season 4.... I will enjoy watching you cry..... in a nice way..... NO SPOILERS in the comments please!
Elizabethan England is a much better setting and the series was much more studio based . Reversing the Edmund / Baldrick relationship works so much better .Miranda Richardson is a wonderfully funny , semi psychotic Queen and everything works so much better .
Elizabeth I is the daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn whom he executed later, Sir Thomas More was originally Henry’s chancellor and friend but he too eventually was executed as he wouldn’t go along with Henry divorcing his first wife for Anne, Thomas was a gifted administrator and lawyer who wouldn’t compromise his religious beliefs to facilitate Henry’s ambitions and paid for it with his life . All he had to do was swear an oath and he would’ve been spared but his convictions were too sacred to him ….. head chopped off !!! 👍🏴
Regarding the rest of the episode, maybe Connor's slightly disturbed by the appearance of raving homophobe (and quack) Dr Leech. The question is, does the homophobia reflect the beliefs of the writers or is just an honest representation of attitudes at a time when homosexuality was punishable by death in this country and the monotherapeutic 'physician' and all-round arsehole Leech embodies this. Whichever, it's one bit I've always felt a little uncomfortable with.
This is simply ridiculous! You’ve managed to block out most of the picture so there’s little point in watching it. Strange how others reacting to this & other comedies manage to deal with it. Disappointing 😒
This episode is ridiculously awesome. Drying their dishes with their underwear had me rolling, (it was the way he said it). I find the Black Adder increasingly jarring as the series 'evolve', I.e, the slimy, increasingly dead - eyed expressions, condescending tone, lengthy tedious insults..(Especially in this season), grates the senses, but everyone else (E.g, Tony Robinson), are really in their element.. The actors playing Percy, the Queen, Lord Flash Heart, even the lethargic Stephen Fry really shines here somehow, (Maybe him being in the 'closet' all these yrs accounts for this, [his naturally lethargic features don't help matters either), *I know it's subjective, so pls don't impale me*. "and you'd be working from home" has never been funnier either, as someone making sure to pull out all the stops to permanently 'work from home/anywhere' in the near future it really had impact. P.s, Connor, pls upload videos as a whole 30 mins, (if possible). :)
“Bury me in a Y-shaped coffin”.. still gets me..😂😂😂
ONE OF MY FAVS OF ALL TIME. BLACKADDER SCRATCHING HIS ITCHIE BACK WITH THE TAIL OF HIS HAWKE.
Jane "bury me in a Y shaped coffin" Harrington. 😂😂😂
I WONDER HOW MANY WOMEN HAD THAT NAME, WHEN THIS WAS FIRST SHOWN ? IMAGINE THOSE CALLS AT WORK OR IN THE STREETS.
Where's the rest of the episode???
Welcome to sarcasm at the highest level.
Are we getting the rest of the episode's reaction?
How can you cut it off at "my love is a prick"?? 🤣 we need the rest.

loved the first 10 mins.
i see you put the 2nd ep in two parts.
where is the 2nd part to the first ep?
have looked can't find it.
'Nonny', a poetic expression.
Was this supposed to end when it did? Or it come in two parts?
What about the rest?
COPYWRITE, LOOK IT UP.
British Comedy at its best. I'm English but have you seen Scotlands Still Game....its funny as fuck, its hilarious

What is the point in showing a video that can’t be seen? I know you think it’s all about “RUclips rules” but have a real think - is it worth it ?
Rowen looks very handsome in this series.

II is by far the greatest Blackadder. Almost perfect.
Why only 10 mins ?
Am I the only one who's only got ten minutes of this? Nobody else is mentioning it. Are parts 2 and 3 coming?
Yes.
Er ‘yes’ was probably the only answer to this comment that gives no further information what’s so ever. I only got 10 mins though

Do you realise that is Elizabeth I, Henry VIII's daughter Bob?
Each Blackadder series concentrated on a different Age in History
This is when the series turns into a classic - Rik as Flashheart is one of the best
NOT MINE. I THOUGHT HIM WAY OVER THE TOP
4 Series - 1. Medieval, 2. Elizabethan, 3. Georgian, 4. 1st World War
3.5 (Xmas special) Victorian 👍
And 2.5 Cavalier Years is of course the British Civil Wars - or very specifically 1649
Blackadder Back & Forth, avoid at all costs & ignore everyone suggesting otherwise. It's was utterly awful
Hiya Ted, on Blackadder back and forth, "are you Robin Hood" is that Fryer Tuck a fat barrel of lard with a ridiculous haircut
Have you noticed Kate's father is also in Yes Minister? Vic Gould, Chief Whip.
Actor Edward Jewesbury
never realised that.😂
It cut off 🤔
Yep Thomas Moore, a man for all seasons.
More.
@@2eleven48 predictive text. I've typed Bobby Moore far too many times.

I can understand that. This is where the characters become crystallised and it hits' it's stride. For me, I always tell people to start with season 2

Simply put …. Top class comedy writing and acting , just a joy to watch 👍🏴
In my opinion this is much better than the first series. The great Rik Mayall really shines.
Love series 2 and 3, 3 being my all-time favourite 😊
Hi Connor ✋
It's the same Tim McInnerny that played Percy in series 1.
"Bob" will continue to befuddle Blackadder later on.

Series 2 & 3 far superior to 1.
I can only pray this means no more of the abomination which is called series 1
They start getting much better from this series (season) on. Too many reasons to go into here…
