Ok, I'm re-watching this 3 years later, and before this clip, they showed the caretaker leaving in her car, but at 7:56, you can hear a woman's laughter. So, unless I am mistaken about the woman leaving, this gave me chills.

57:25 Obviously Sam wasn’t thinking straight. He seemed distant and sort of unfocused. He was fully willing to go into freezing water in pitch black night with no second thought just because he said he saw something. Even when Cory pulled him out, took the rods and asked him what he was doing Sam still seemed very drawn to the water. I have a thought. What if what Sam saw was a kelpie? Kelpies are shape-changing aquatic spirits of Scottish legend and they tend to inhabit rivers and streams (such as the one surrounding the castle), and what makes them feared in folklore is they draw people to the water to drown them. Sam said he saw something and was blindly drawn to the water, what if it was a kelpie in disguise? I am not a firm believer in cryptids or paranormal stuff myself, however I do love learning these types of things and when I saw Sam act like this my first thought was a kelpie.

The fact that sam wanted to go into the water makes me believe there was something attached to him. If Corey didn’t stop him he probably would’ve kept walking and maybe he would’ve drowned. He looked like he wasn’t even there like mentally, he looked like he was possessed. The empty eyes, the “it wants us to go there” in a tone that gives you chills and after that once Colby and Jake arrived he just stared into the dark and Colby literally had to shake him to get his attention again. I know it’s an old video but there was definitely something possessing Sam.

I just want to clear some stuff up, and this is the history nerd in me that needs to clarify, not many people are aware that there are 3 different Mary’s at play. Mary Queen of Scots and Mary I of England (aka “Bloody Mary”) are two different people. Mary I was the British monarch before Elizabeth I, the Queen who had Mary Queen of Scots beheaded. The Queen Mary ship was not named after either of these women, it was named after Mary of Teck who was the wife of King George V (grandson of Queen Victoria). I hope this clears some things up, but I’m sure most people won’t really care. Just wanted to put it all out there!

I feel like this is when Sam got the attachment, Amanda said he had it before the conjuring, the way he walked into the water and was so calm, he was literally saying he was shaking he was so cold before they walked down there, and then was willing to literally walk across a river?! I’m glad whatever was attached is gone now, Cory has always been so receptive to the spirits and this was intense
I have this feeling too, like compare his reaction during the river part and when him and colby saw the door open in the castle. At around 43:54 they are confusing three different Queen Mary's as the same person. The Mary that the ship was named after, was Mary of Teck. The Mary in the castle is Mary, Queen of Scots. And finally Bloody Mary is Mary Tudor, the eldest child of Henry the 8th.

47:21 as a history freeakkk i think the ghost from the “Queen Mary ship” is not the same queen Mary, the queen mary ship was based off queen mary of Teck which is queen Elizabeth II’s grandmother. The queen mary here was queen mary of scots who obviously was alive in the 16th century. Also Mary of scots was not a bad person who “beheaded” people for fun.. she WAS beheaded by her cousin. Her reign was short and didn’t last long.

quick tip: once you have made your salt circle, start at the part furthest north and walk around the outside 3 times clockwise. once you are done, start at the furthest point south and walk around the inside 3 times counter-clockwise. coming from experience, this will do a better job at activating and deactivating your circle, and keeping the energy you wish to communicate with in the circle and the other ones out.

So if you don't drown, which is the most likely outcome, you'd be carried out further until you either get injured from impact, get lost (in consideration of how fast they move) or, evidently, drown.
