We live in East Texas, anytime we need to make a fuel or pit stop or a BBQ brisket sandwich, or jerky, or a pastry, or a Buccee's t-shirt, or a soda pop, or fudge, or ... we love Buccee's.
Hey neighbor! We aren't too far from Buccee's. Fun store, but I have to be honest, their brisket doesn't even come close to Soulman's right down the road. We go to Buccee's for the saltwater taffy. Yum!
Generally Buc-ee’s does not allow overnight parking, it's even on their website under frequently asked questions. I use Cracker Barrel restaurants a lot, many of them allow overnight staying, often with large RV pull through spaces.
We love Bucees! We stop everytime we see one! We love the brisket sandwiches and the clean bathrooms! Glad to know we can stay overnight in our van too!
Buccee's is always an amazing place to stop at. Six hours would be a very long day for Fred and I. We like to take slow, steady days and stop by to investigate each of our stops along the way. We do not blame you guys for being worn out. The beanie looked good on you, Joe. Kate, love your new beanie. Have a great week, Mary 💕 Fred
I see you like Buc-ees. Unfortunately, we can't visit due to our BIG RIG HDT semi-truck. A Texas company so it's all good. At least, I can still go to Whataburger. Enjoy and safe travels. Aloha 😀🤙👍
I've watched other camper videos exploring Bucee's. They were told No overnight camping. Bet they're aggravated if watching y'all camp there. Love Bucee's!
@@Weretherussos That's interesting. I guess since there are more of them around the country, they changed their policy. But they were once sticklers for 2 hour maximum stay. I've been to Bucee's that had all but the perimeter parking spots full. Of course, the one by our house is not on the list for allowing overnight - they even have spots marked off for passenger vehicles only and blocks preventing larger vehicles from pulling through! It wasn't always like that. Y'all are such adventurers! Thanks for taking us along!
@Mischief Road Trip Adventures some of that is where the place is located. Sometimes there are city ordinances. It can also be because of how close it is to a metro area. The less the traffic, the less likely they'll care, it seems. Walmart and other places are the same throughout the country. The metro part matters because they tend to attract homeless people from within the city, not just passers through.
JIM,AND KATE,HELLO,I Aheard of BUCKEES, but this is the only one I saw inside,so many places, are not allowing overnight stays. This is quite a place, say, how much fuel, does your van can hold ? Stay well, enjoy the trip, 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great to see you on tje road again. We love Bucees but there are signs saying no overnight parking, no loitering. We use Flying J, Loves or Cracker Barrel.
Very cool. This is my plan for the future, a camper Transit and a small trailer to tow the bike to the track day events. Right now it's my F150 and a toy hauler and it's a lot of moving parts.
I am so grateful to have come across your video and watching it has been a unique experience. As someone who used to have a very adventurous personality and to see where life has taken me to the place where I constantly feel tired, and burned out, living in a city has huge effects. Watching you and your adventures inspire me to change some things and maybe also give van life a chance as well :) thank you and wish you all the best.
Loved your photo shoot at the campground and Kaits new beanie. I’m sure it won’t be long before you are comfortable again with travel Joe. I’m so enjoying your travel videos. It’s like old times. 💕
#1…thanks for leaving me with the toilet image right next to the bed lol! But in all honesty, it was much funnier, than it was gross 😂 #2…I have very vivid dreams as well, but it would’ve been really awesome to actually have awaken on a real spaceship, headed to Mars, or a Star Trek like planet (I hear that Beta Iotia 6 is really nice this time of year 🤪) 🖖🏼👏🏼👍🏼🥂
My first experience with Buc-ee’s was in New Braunfels TX when i had a business trip to Deer Park back in 2009 and have always made sure when on the road, on the east coast - FLA especially - I make it a point to stop at Buc-ee’s. I have been to the one south of Jacksonville for, the one in Warner Robbins Ga. The one in KY - around Berea wasn’t open last Feb when I was on 75. I think when we were in TX we stopped at 6 or 7 Bucees on one trip. Thanks Russo’s. Safe travels.
We just did a 12 hour drive day in our 2019 Transit from Oklahoma City to home in southern Minnesota today after a 12 hour from Corpus Christi to OK. Good to see you guys back in the van! Yea it's more fun when you're slap happy after a long stint behind the wheel!!!!!
Hilarious you two !!!! Gotta luv it. I want a Buckey Onsie too! Ok I've never heard of Buckies before. I am pretty sure there is zero Buckies in MT. Definitely none in our extreme NW county 65 miles from Canada with approx 20,000 people maybe. Our pop's dropped with the last census. Just bought my first ever Class B+ 22 years old. Low 40K but added another 550 to bring her home. I was thinking you could move your head to the other side of the bed so his feet is nearer the loo than his head. Anyway I was willing to stay in a Costco or Walmart lot but my friend who was traveling with me her husband got in her head and so in the end we got a motel room cause we don't like driving at night. For me it's a vision thing. Anyway just enjoyed your entertaining real life on the road clip here today. Thank you for sharing...but I want a Onesie too. How is One see spelled? Gotta go check that out. If ever traveling through Libby MT we've got a small acreage and you are welcome to snooze or use as a base camp....we're only 120 miles to Glacier Park. And we are closer to the Pacific Coast at 7.5 miles than we are to Yellowstone Park. Go figure...MT is Big just not big enough population wise to have a BUCKIES.
Thanks for the offer to stay on the property - we love Montana. I don’t think it’s the population but rather how many cars are coming through on the highway for Bucees. It’s really a southern/Texas thing so none in the north yet but who knows.
I have always enjoyed your videos, but I have to say I am more excited than ever when notifications pop up now that you are part timers. That is all we would ever be. I am still convincing my husband it is the best way to see North America. Your honest experiences and tips will help. Thank you!
Let’s see I think we need a comparison of Joe’s adjustment to the Van compared to his mom’s in the Van. You two are a hoot🤣. This was a fun video with a nice variety. 👍🏼👏🏼

Interesting.... has Bucees chnaged their policy? We know several vanlifer's that have been told no. I asked about a month ago at one in TX and was told no. Guess we'll all see. Thanks for the video! And YES we LOVE Bucees! 🙂
You are correct. The Buc-ees website, in their FAQs, specifically mentions that you can’t park and rest in their parking lot despite their being open 24 hrs. It’s probably hit or miss as to whether you get asked to leave or can spend the night undisturbed. Best policy is not to overnight in places you aren’t welcome.
Exactly what I was thinking! Did they change their policy? We spend a good amount of $ at Bucee's and would love to overnight if possible. I've heard of others being kicked out and even seen a sheriff there ask people to leave the premises.
I don't think the company has changed their general policy but each store is different and it doesn't hurt to ask. That said, we always advocate asking permission, even when the company policy does allow overnight parking.
@@Weretherussos I'm glad that you were able to, I always thought that even if they changed a nominal fee, Bucee's would make a killing. One only needs a safe place to sleep, plus like I said before we patronize the store, gas, food, knickknacks. Easily adds up after filling up.
Wow!! Hello!! Mr and Mrs Russo! I use to watch your Travels all the time!! I'm happy to see you all again, Ms Russo I think you had cut all your hair off, But it grew back and is Beautiful. Glad to see you all again! Sending Love from Maryland! Its cold and wet here today!❤❤

Why make coffee next to a toilet when Buc-ees has an amazing coffee setup inside and its like $1.49 for the large?!?
