Yes - that book was transformational for me too Madi. I love Michael Singer and follow him online as well. I also love, his newest book, Living Untethered. And I cannot fail to mention Eckhart Tolle who put these concepts on the map for me and millions of people. The Power of Now and A New Earth by Tolle are his main two books. Amazing and life-changing for me: Singer and Tolle. Both Geniuses!
I listened to all Michael Singers books . Life changing ❤. There are a few RUclips channels that put up him speaking on different topics . I love him especially cause he has a sense of humor as he teaches about how life works . Thank you for sharing the book
The book "When The Body Says No" by Gabor Mate' MD is about how childhood trauma and stress causes adult illnesses. I very much recommend this book to anyone who has been mentally or physically abused.
@@TheAnti-AlienationProject Yes, Somatic Therapies are key to healing the body from illnesses and Trauma that actually start in our minds - like PA. Other good authors on this topic: Bessel van der Kolk, The Body Keeps the Score; Peter Levine - the OG on Somatic Experiencing and the mind-body connection, several books; Pete Walker, CPTSD (the ultimate book on this topic). I'm doing EMDR which is also good for PA children. Also, Tapping/ EFT is also helpful. You need to heal the mind and the body. Presence/ mindfulness is a great start!
The truth, for many who discover, is that trauma, leads to great strengths and joy. How you get there is multiple, this book recommendation is a must, and, after digesting it, did the truth of real joy appear!!! For me, it was perfect, but you'll have to read to discover the truth....💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
About "letting go" - we tend to resist 'forgiveness' because we think it means to forgive the abusive behavior HOWEVER a turning point for me was realizing that forgiveness does NOT condone the behavior. Rather it is about "letting go" - to release all that nasty toxic emotion to be free to live life without carrying those heavy burdens of resentment, anger etc. There's a book called "Radical Forgiveness" that explains this in more detail. I had resisted for a LONG time and it is way easier said than done, but finally began the journey of letting it go after wrapping my head around this concept, very similar.
Exactly, 100% Gratitude for sharing this wisdom, when people awake through letting go it provides this perfect meaning to your life and that is living in the flow in this here and now. Be aware through your mindfulness, and you get centred most of the time or even just a little of the time, you are awakening💗
Huge fan of this channel and a financial supporter but I must say that using emotion versus logic is primarily a female attribute. This is exactly the issue I face with my daughters who are “no contact.” It should also be mentioned that by definition no contact leads to “no resolution.”
I can see what you are saying. However you used the word BUT, which negates what I see Madi trying to relate, which is consciously focusing on one’s own consciousness, which is a step away from emotional reaction and a step towards rational thinking. I think you see this. Your message reads differently however. I too have 2 alienated adult daughters. Madi’s message is on point with why alienation isn’t resolved quickly or easily. I am almost 3 years since the divorce, and find Madi’s comments here applicable to myself.
Yep...great book. I have one you might really like. It is my all time book on being human and spirit. I have gone back to it, over and over again, throughout my life. It is called "Emmanuel's Book...A manual for living comfortably in the cosmos" Just the forward from Ram Dass is amazing. Enjoy! BTW...It reads a bit like poetry, simple chunks. I read a page or two at a time. :)

Thank you Madi for everything you do ❤

Great book! 📖 Reading can really help us understand ourselves and the challenges we face. 📚
I fear alienated children take "letting go" to mean their targeted parent. 😔
