He'll start and we need to run the ball and set up the pass against this porous D of the Colts. That will set up the short passing game and let him take a long ball shot once or twice. Caleb will not lose confidence!!!
Caleb Williams could throw 5 interceptions next week and he won’t get benched. The only reason Caleb would get benched is if he throws 6 interceptions 😂😂 for real though Caleb would rather take 15 sacks in a game then throw 5 picks. So the only real way Caleb isn’t starting for the Bears is if he is injured which is a high possibility until the offensive line gets their head out of their asses.
Seriously. It would be such a Chicago Bears thing to do to bench the quarterback who’s been about the only bright spot it’s not Caleb it’s the offensive line and if they even try to bench him all hell will break loose.
Can't get anyone involved when the O Line is getting your QB killed Williams has been sacked 9 times in 2 games he threw 2 interceptions Bagent has had experience and teams won't be BLITZING HIM ALL THE TIME
That offensive line got physically beat but mostly that line had no idea what they were doin. Like heads spinning looking for a guy to block.( after they got run by)
Some people do it for self expression, in memory of someone, acts of brotherhood, etc. I don't have any tattoos myself, but a lot of people I know that have them get them for reasons such as that.
25 dropbacks, max. Run the ball. Slants, outs, comebacks/rear shoulder. Play D. Let him game manage first 6 games. 45 dropbacks and 20 hits is unacceptable. JMO
One thing that Shane Waldren can do is call better plays and play the best players. The former Seattle Seahawks players should not be getting this many reps.
To me if you bench him you're doing more damage to his self-confidence if you do that. I personally think Caleb will be fine there's some bumps in the road yes but give him time.
They never shouldve started him in the first place. Shouldve protected him by keeping him on the bench and letting him learn slow. Cats outta the bag now.
Take a look at quarterbacks who played right away vs those who sat. Poles and Eberflus put Caleb in a terrible position for success by playing him right away.
don’t bench caleb! run the dang football! you have 3 starting caliber running backs and decent second string backs; that’s why you went out and got a D’Andre Swift even though you already had Khalil Herbert to give a rookie quarterback that safety blanket, but you still won’t run the ball.
They need a better running game, but they tried doing that, and the first 2 downs, they get nowhere, and then Caleb has to pass 3rd and 10. Maybe they should try running with Herbert more than Swift.
You cannot bench Caleb. He's not the problem, our online stinks. If it was any good, we would at least be able to run, we can't run. We can't pass. It's the lines fault
Bruh, the Bears have a "horrendous" O-line. So for you to say the Colts, Panthers, and Rams are bad defensively might be true, but when your team has a bad o-line, then bad defenses look good. When it comes to the Colts, they just played 2 teams that have playoff expectations in the Texans and Packers. So unless the O-line blocks better then the Bears will struggle to beat anyone. As of right now, the Bears are a bad offense until further notice. The Bears according to the masses, are expected to make the playoffs, which I didn't expect it. Matter of fact, I have concerns about whether or not Caleb's style of play translates to the NFL. He’s not the next Mahomes, from the pocket. Matter of fact, I'm concerned if he can play consistently well from the pocket. My concerns for Caleb coming out of USC: holds onto the ball too long, takes too many sacks, fumbles too much, plays out of structure too much, plays hero ball too much, and is immature. The bad o-line only highlights this more. With the added pressure and expectations, the Bears might bench Caleb if they keep losing because Eberflus job is on the line. So it’s a possibility.
I agree, bench him until that Oline is settled in. But if he gets benched Poles is toast

Hey but look at a brighter picture Justin Fields is 2-0

Why do folks who claim adulthood go and get ink all over their skin? What does it add?

Got two words for you Tyson bagent
@@vincebalosky771 Williams coc riders don't want to hear that, they'd rather lose with Fields slower smaller mini me, than win with Bagent.
Bruhh Yall have no shame trying to get Views now. Guess it worked I still hit play... Get better Sir 😂😂💯
Agreed
I just wanted to see how he was going to try and spin it
Sadly the blah blah blah rumors will be going all season…

They had all of training camp and pre-season to figure this stuff out.
Bench Davis, put Pryor in at Lt. Guard, move Tevin to Rt. guard and find a center

People are making mountains out of molehills after 2 games!!!! That's the national media for ya!!!! Wait 'til after week 6 and we'll talk.

after 6 games i would reconsider it but ryan poles n them aint doing that

Ya, I think it’s the o line that needs work. Williams is fine
Sounds like the guy might be hunting for some clicks.
