The smaller bench that’s the poultry one is just like the coffee table that my mother in- law had and gave it to me. You gave me an idea on how to redo it. I was going to seal in all different pic of my daughter and son an the grandchildren. I like the black paint on it. Thanks for that idea too. I will send a pic when I finish it which will be during the summer. I have to finish my stairs which I made into a winder stair case from a straight one. Thanks again and God Bless You 💕
I wish I had a giant bench like that one for my hallway! You do inspire me. And you are always teaching me things... Techniques... Product suggestions... ETC! I enjoy your videos more than you could ever possibly know. Some folks need Netflix. I BINGE WATCH GCR! 😁💗👍
Wow. These are truly awesome. When Chris was sanding the really large bench, the first thing I thought was to please not cover the beautiful wood with paint! lol It looks amazing - just like all the rest! Thanks so much for sharing.
Loved the storage barrel bench! The grain in the wood is beautiful. I rescued 6 chairs that were in bad shape. Gave them the “Ginger Chick” finish and the turned out beautiful.
I definitely hold my breath! I'm do messy I get the ink everywhere 🤪 But I do okay I guess, the only fabric iv tried is the nettle point rings. The benches are beautiful 😍 I love them, and coming up with the saying for the bench was genius.
Beautiful work!!! 😍 This video came at a perfect time for me! I just purchased a HUGE square coffee table at a thrift store with the idea of making it into an ottoman. I’ve wanted one for some time now but for the size I want they are $600-900!! That’s far more than I want to spend. So I think after watching this video and a few others I’ll be able to tackle it! The only difference is I want to try to tuft the cushion 😳😊. Wish me luck!! 🙏🏽
You are really getting professional with using your stamps. You are a great teacher and are encouraging many like myself to get up the courage to use the ones we've purchased that are still in the packaging! 😜 I love the two benches where you stamped on the cushions... Just Beautiful!!! And the wood grain on the third bench, oh my! Best of luck with selling these! I have a feeling they will sell really quickly... Oh, and the saying is, "I've got one under my belt." Blessings to both you and Chris, Yvonne! Have an amazing weekend!! 😊
I just found you yesterday and have been binge watching all of your videos. You do a beautiful job and really go above and beyond with each and every piece. I understand that you haven’t been in business for very long but you could be charging so much more than you are for your pieces. Gorgeous and inspiring!
I absolutely loved how all three of these turned out. The stamps looks so nice and I'm so glad your chicken didn't fall off. But I think the last one with the natural wood is my favorite. Gorgeous! 💖💜💖
I have to thank you for sharing the Durham’s water putty. I had never heard of it but I bought some after watching your videos. While working on my house it has come in so handy. This week it saved a toy box I was repairing the lid on. While cutting the new top the circular saw jumped and made a bad cut... I was able to fix it and not have to go buy another piece. I was shocked you can’t tell it ever happened after it’s painted! Game changer!
I can’t pick a favorite! They’re all beautiful and so creative. I would love to be able to peek inside your brain and see all the ideas running around!
Wow that was a lot of work but well worth it I was holding my breath with you while you were stamping on the material however it turned out great love your show enjoy watching all your great works of art thank you for sharing have a great evening God bless you and your husband
Somebody up there loves me! I have several benches to upcycle. One is exactly like yours. I also have a dropcloth. And stencils. No excuses, lol. I will be chuffed if they come out half as good as yours! TFS.
Love all the benches! They turned out beautifully! Every time I watch your videos it gives me more confidence to work on my own projects. You make things seem so straight forward (even though I know sometimes they’re not). Thanks again for another wonderful video.
All 3 benches are super cute but the one with the storage barrel stencil is just gorgeous!! I love that you stained the top and accentuated the scalloping by using the antiquing wax strait from the bottle. Wowzer!
I LOVE all the projects!! Super job! Learned alot of stenciling techniques and thanks for the long product list. I know that took a lot of your time! :0)
To get the clear stamps to stick sometimes it helps to take your embossing gun over the stamp to warm it up and then you press your acrylic sheet on it it while it's warm and it should hold. I love all of the benches
@@GingerChickRehab you just want to get it warm so I just use my embossing gun in a circular motion kind of quickly just to get it warmed up and then it holds to the plastic better
You always have such great information in your videos! Plus your creativity with each of your projects is just so inspiring! Everything is beautiful! You guys make a great team! Thanks for working so hard to share your projects with all of us! Blessings to you and Chris! And enjoy your Mother’s Day on Sunday! 💕
LOVE the Storage Barrel bench, that came out amazing!! Loved the technique of using the straight antique wax around the edges too ❤️I'm also super OCD about straight lines and things being centered and straight. Beautiful job on both though.
@@GingerChickRehab Its a wonderful product for stamps. Squeeze a little on the stamp, smooth it over the stamp and let it dry. Your stamp will stay sticky for a long ,long time. Love your video. After watching the ones with the IOD stamps,
These all turned out fabulous! To make your polymer stamps stick again, just use hot soapy water and wipe them gently to make it stick again. That's always worked for me for polymer stamps. Let them dry thoroughly. If that doesn't work, try using an alcohol wipe or a little basic alcohol and a cotton ball to wipe it down. Sometimes alcohol can dry out stamps, but I've never had any issues just quickly swapping them down.
I love your “vision” of the thrifted items. I always try to guess what you will do. When you said the animal stamp was losing it’s stickiness I remembered a hint. Use the mat for the Silhouette or the Cricket. They have different tack so it might work for you.
Wow! You guys out did yourselves 👍 ! Maybe try quilt basting spray on your stamps. I use it for a lot of things. As a nod to you guys I’m making slipcovers for my outdoor cushions in drop cloths and putting on grain sack stripes. Maybe I’ll try stamping them to 🤔. Glad to see it seems like you’re feeling better.
Oh.. thank you for sharing all that. Have fun. Scotch Guard does have a outdoor protective spray also. Though with Michigan weather I bring my cushion in and out so they will last year to year🤗
I believe there is a spray adhesive that is repositionable. Try that on the back of your stamps. It adds the sticky back, but it’s not meant to be super strong. Your benches came out great!
Love your benches! Thanks for the heat set reminder! You are so brave! If I have a stamp that doesn’t stick usually washing it in soapy water will help but if I’m nervous I will use double sided tape to stick it to plastic then remove it after🙂
I recently bought a screw top stool off of market place. I didn’t end up liking it for a stool, but it’s perfect for a lazy Susan to paint my projects! Thanks 🤩
The benches are creative and the workmanship is impeccable. In my opinion the pricing should be adjusted, higher! That way you won't need to work so much, and have a little free time. Plus, reflective of the hours you put into your products.

These are gorgeous, tasteful and creative -- and the prices are right! I didn't realize that drop cloths could be such an attractive material.

Wonderful job you've done the two of you 👍👌🤩🤩🤩 my preferred one would have to be the very large bench 😍😍
Aww.. thank you
The dynamic duo strikes again. Loved all the benches and all the hard work you both do to get the end results.

Love that. Thank you

Wow, thank you
These projects were beautiful.
FYI...saw an IOD video where they used stamps and applied paint with a brayer. The color was vibrant.

“You have one under your belt.” when you’ve done one and start another one. Beautiful benches!
She's not alone. I get all the sayings wrong. My husband thinks it's the funniest thing.
Thank you both💖

As usual everything is gorgeous and I can't imagine it won't sell fast 😊

I love all of the benches so pretty :)
Thank you
Very nice, Ginger Chick. Very nice.
💖 I lived all the benches.
loved the storage barrel bench, awesome
These are beautiful benches. I love the grain sack.
Aileens tack it over and over for your stamps. I used to own a rubber stamp store and we used tons of it for our uncounted and clear stamps.
Oh.. thank you.. I may have some of that I use for tacking down reusable stencils
@@GingerChickRehab Its a wonderful product for stamps. Squeeze a little on the stamp, smooth it over the stamp and let it dry. Your stamp will stay sticky for a long ,long time. Love your video. After watching the ones with the IOD stamps,

Great work, I love benches.
Levelling up Yvonne...what's next? furniture flipping on a bigger scale...cheering for yah!
Aww.. thank you
Thank you for the step by step tutorials on upholstery and stamping.
Try some Aleenes tack it over and over glue. It should hold the stamp and you can remove it if not left on the plastic too long.
Thank you for sharing that tip
