This roadster is destined to be a classic. They hold their value remarkable well. Mercedes is terminating the AMG-GT convertible program with the arrival of the R232 SL, as you know of course.
I think GT roadster still looks much better thatn the new upcoming SLs. Much better looking than previous SLs but brings out the retired dentist in golf community feeling again. Not the beasty monster look the GT has.
I went to the Mercedes Benz dealership in my town to inquire about AMG GT roadster. They can't find a single new one in the entire country and some MB dealerships are selling CPO cars from 2018 for around its original MSRP. Wonder if this is going to become a collectible especially when MB is phasing out the V8 biturbos.
Great review! There are so many GT C roadster reviews, but not GT. Very resounceful. I could be wrong, but I think most people opt for GT over GT C given the bang for the buck. Does GT C give you that much difference for what like 300k difference? Hmm.

GT is worth it for the price and can always be tuned to match the performance of the higher models
