A perfect review Mike. Personally... I’d take an SL (even a non-AMG) over this rocket, for its added luxury appointments. However, the GT ‘s lose very little value, whilst the SL ‘s drop in value ... like a brick. But that’s what also makes the SL500/55 AMG much more ‘attainable’ for the average person. By far the ugliest aspect of this car is the placement of the FRONT licence plate. I know this only affects states and provinces that require front license plates but you think the designers would have taken that into account.
If you cannot afford to buy/lease it new, dont buy it at all. The running and maintenance costs will kill you. Thats also the reason for the fast loss of worth. Rich people want new cars and average people cannot pay the running and maintenance costs for used cars of this calibre.
I preferred the regular, non AMG ones, not as fast but a lot more affordable. Alas they aren't anymore as MB can squeeze thousands more just for those 3 letters.

Doesn’t twin turbo mean two identical turbos and bi-turbo means two different sized turbos?
I would normally say yes but the Germans call four door SUVs coupes so I wouldn't rule anything out of the equation with them
