I have watched RUclips for 10years. Everyday. Mainly videos on Man Utd. I have never subscribed to ANY channel. I have in the last 5min created my first account and subscribed to ur channel. I’ve been watching you for 6 months and u are by far the best Man Utd channel on the internet. Moving graphics etc into ur videos is a step up……and well delivered from yourself. I waited for this video to drop (which I’ve never waited for anyone’s channel post) and I just want to say… WOW! Completely unlike any other United channel🙌🏼 well done Sam and the rest of the team🎉
When EtH started at United he played his way and we got slaughtered for it against Brentford and Brighton and he had to adapt his style to suit the players we had and it worked and as soon as he adapted again the next season we suffered for it. With Amorim, I do expect us to struggle badly to adapt to this style and have very little optimism that this will start smoothly or go well until Amorim gets more of his players into the system. I do like that his first game is against Ipswich but also hoping this is not our "Brentford" match where Amorim is going to be shocked into changing to suit the limitations of our squad.
I agree. I have a very balanced view of this currently due to the hype we all ha ETH. I think the slight difference this time though is. There is no Fred and McTominay and no Maguire. This is a better team than the one ETH took over. Not a great team but definitely a better one.

"Hit like & subscribe" is so overused on YT that it loses meaning, but this content is genuinely deserving of hitting the like button and subscribing. Unreal fan content! One thing I will add is that Maz being left out of the team is near impossible with the way he's is playing since he arrived.
Amazing video with the proper insight into the tactics that can be used...the animations really helped alot to understand how the system works in a defensive shape both on the counter and sitting deep to win the ball back.
antony does not have the mentality nor the ability to play as a left wing back. he doesn’t want to defend as we saw him complaining last year when ten hag put him there. He is too one footed and that makes him to predictable, and his only ability is to cut in and shoot and he can’t to that from left wing back. Unfortunately he doesn’t have the technique and weak foot ability that is needed under this system. Of course I can be wrong as well.
@@AbhraGhosh-g3m just because he played RW most of his time doesn't mean he can't be converted. LWB is a perfect role for him, if you watched his previous games he always tracks back and defends well. In this new system, he just has to accept that he becomes a build up player instead of a finisher, and we can explore his ability to put in dangerous crosses into the box.

The two midfielders off the striker need to be CAMs, I don’t see how rashford fits that mold. Bruno won’t be next to urgate, he’ll be next to the striker. Casemiro will slot in next to ugarte and so will mainoo

As a SL Benfica fan, what you have made here is a masterpiece. You have touched in every main points of Amorim’s tatics. My only advice is to give him time because his system is very demanding and some of your players have not that profile. With some key transfers and time, I believe Man Utd can comeback to those good old days. I love Amorim as a person and as a coach so I will for sure support Man Utd from now on! Lets go!!!!

Great video, thanks! I personally would like to hear more about the role our current fullbacks might play. Given the possible switch to 3 at the back and wingbacks, Dalot, Mazraoui and Shaw are pretty interesting characters. Shaw as a possible left sided CB, the others as wingbacks. The thought of very offensive players in that WB role, like Amad, Garnacho, Antony is nice but I have no confidence whatsoever that that will be a regular option given the physicality of the premier league and our defensive woes.

Garnacho, on the other hand is probably the best attacking wing back option we have. He has the legs, the energy and skill to do both parts of the defensive play I recognise that he still needs a lot of coaching and guidance on this decision making, which will inevitably get improved with his deeper position. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 I would say 70% of the players are perfectly suited for Amorim’s formation, let’s see

Every league is different. Tenhag was stupid if he thinks he can play Ajax football in PL. Pep doesn't play like Barca or Bayern in his time at City

Amorim played with one CAM and a winger in those positions at. So Rashford makes sense. Bruno is Goncalves and Rashford is Trincao
