When you open a dumpster and find that you have stuff in there to get out, why don’t you get your truck closer instead of throwing everything on the ground and having to pick it up again which is double the work?
He does when he sees it's really stuffed, sometimes he doesn't know until he is already in it. Doesn't pay to back up to all of them because he checks so many, probably most are edited out. Most dumpsters only have 2 or 3 items so why back up. Have you seen any videos where he does actually climb out of the dumpster and backup. HOLY SCRAP! Sometimes he fills more than half the truck. 😆
I say this every time! Don't double your work. Not all but most dumpsters he can pull up within a few feet. He does this with curbside appliances too. He'll pull the truck where the appliance is halfway down the bed of the truck. If he would pull up 4 feet it would be right at the tailgate. A guy told me once "work smarter not harder". That has always stuck with me!
Im totally disabled and have been In bed all day for the past 8 years, so I am having a "mike the scavenger" marathon at my house this weekend. I started from episode one yesterday. Great entertainment all day long
21:01 Geforce 7600 G Silent was a nice graphics card back in the days, totally silent with no fan :) It had SLi so if you had a SLi mainboard you could with a SLi cable connect two graphics cards and get double the speed. 21:29 A CPU cooler, heatpipes has alcohol in them, it moves the heat faster than bare aluminum or copper does in the older types or heatsinks. If you get them to fit it will be good for brand new CPU's too, but you might have to make DIY brackets and/or add a good copper shim if the modern CPU's are different and slightly bigger for example. But if the wattage of heat it can remove is right and the fan port on the mainboard is right too then it will work, if not the fan can be changed for a modern 4 pin PWM fan to work. You can't damage modern CPU's if you run them with too small heatsink or even with no heatsink at all it will only slow down the speed to nothing to not overheat. Back in the days the CPU's started to smoke and even caught on fire if they had no heatsink. Intel was faster to protect this from happening than AMD. i Think Intel Pentium 4 was the first heat protected CPU. 23:43 This printer or plotter was likely way expencive back in the days and probably still might be worth money if someone get it to run and if the resolution is good. Maybe it did print rolls of wallpaper back in the day.. or perhaps posters for movies on cinemas, i know much about computer stuff but not these ones, i wonder even if it is ink or laser :)
The connectors on the straps are for what is called E track used in box trucks and trailers for controlling loads. $$$$ Love your new format and editing Mike!
I used a plotter like that when I was a CAD drafter some years ago at a big engineering/ manufacturing company. Memories! Also, loved your GLEE at that conduit-filled dumpster!
13:21 have copper in those plastic shells. Some of those cast aluminium based and body chairs can be by Herman Miller...even broken they are worth $$$. Nice ones can sell for 4 figures. Worth reading the tags on the bottom to make sure you're not scrapping a designer chair.
Yo mike digging deep getting that good stuff hope everybody in the comments is doing well mike seems to have a lot energy as always best wishes to mike and family and to all in the comments 🤙😎
Mike your the best channel out there always super content, question where do you get all that energy you are like the Energizer bunny running around like superman I could use some of the vitamins you are taking.stay safe God bless.
Love these videos it's only Been up for 14 minutes and had nearly one and a half thousands views already so I'm not the only one that looks forward to seeing these videos
The second camera reminds me of a scene from a horror movie where you see what the protagonist is doing on the main camera, then it cuts to another for the killer’s view, watching from the shadows.
Why don’t you take the ink cartridges and sell them at your garage sales ? And can’t you do a bit of fixing up of those chairs and again sell them ? Also I hate to say this but I find that when you’ve found a bunch of stuff, you don’t take as much time going through everything in the next bunch of dumpsters as you do when you haven’t found a lot . You should take as much care with ALL the dumpsters and check out all the boxes in each one. 😘♥️🌈🇨🇦
Brother I’ve been watching your videos and I noticed the crap floating in the air while your digging for treasures in the dumpsters. Man be careful you don’t know what you might be breathing.
Another great video by Mighty Mike. WOW oodles and Oodles of wire noodles and conduit noodles as well. Didn’t have to fill up Dottie but she is full of MONEY anyway. ALRIGHT!!!!!! You Go MIGHTY MIKE
If you have an open fire or log burner you can recycle your boxes and junk mail and any other paper by tearing it up and putting it in a bucket with water in. Then you use a paint or plaster mixer bit on a drill or proper mixer and mix it until it's pulp. Then you squash it into whatever shape you want and let it dry, now you have yourself a free fire log that lasts for hours and is better than the expensive ones that you get from the store.😉👍 it makes more sense to recycle it for your benefit than putting it in a bin not sure how it's going to be used. Most of the time they burn it in power stations then sell you the electric back for a fortune. Another way to recycle it is to make a gasifier and burn it in there to power things like generators and fridges while producing heat for your water and home. The tar that comes from it can be made into petroleum, diesel, and other fuels by cooling and filtering it. There's loads of videos on RUclips showing people running their trucks and other engines on it. Mr teslonian has loads of videos on it and other great inventions to make power.
You know those connectors for a tractor trailer in the back. For securing loads. It's a "New Day"by Nina Simone music for your collecting background. Why didn't you take that wireless network ?
those straps are for semi trialers and you can also buy the tracks they fit in at home depot lowes harbor frieght a and else where to mount in your truck bed
Muy bueno da gusto seguirlo contagia con su felicidad al encontrar cables u otros cada vez ahora si que puedo decir que es un buscador de tesoro pir esa fascinacion que muestra bravo bravo Mike super scavenger
The staps are for holding pallets in in place to keep from damaging merchandise being shipped in a semi box trailer also separate if they have multiple locations they will use them. Be a good market place sell
The Mimaki printer you grabbed scavenging;wow those are not cheap!Thousands of dollars, good luck at scrap yard!Looking forward to seeing your next video!Sincerely,(A True Fan)!
It’s old JV3, one of the worst machines to work with, but it had decent quality. I was a service technician for them. Repaired hundreds of them back in the day. You rarely see JV3 nowadays. And this bloody FireWire.
I've been saying that for awhile now however it would change the aspect of the realism of why we really like it and I don't know if Mike would want to go for it even though it would be interesting to make a nice chunk of money unfortunately for us his true love is obviously in the dumpsters LOL!
Surprised that you haven’t modified one of those emergency lights to hang on the side of your truck to illuminate your work area. Add a power cord to keep the battery charged, add a switch to keep the lights off until you need them. Thanks for sharing this insightful video. Wishing you and your family a great week. Cheers
Mike love the new intro, you are definitely the most entertaining man in scrap. BTW the ink Cartridges can be worth money on ebay, and those cpu coolers by cooler master you could get a few bucks for to.
Mike, those straps you found at the 6 minute mark are for a 18 wheeler flatbed. They latch on to clips/hooks along the belly of trailer. New here in Missouri they run about 45 each

Hey Mike, those little fans with aluminum heat sinks and copper tubing put out by Master Cooler, those are CPU heat sinks for water cooling systems for computers. Typically used with a watered down version of Ethylene Glycol (some might call it antifreeze). They're popular with gamers wanting to keep their computers from slowing down while gaming. Doing all right Mike! Your newly subscribed night owl here. I take it that copper is the ultimate find? I’ve no idea…that conduit gets you excited as well! Take Care
The straps are for E-tracks in dry van semi trailers. They are very expensive. I think the last one I bought was $35. I've seen them as high as $65 each. I would use them for sure but I have plenty already.
When you find the good heavy duty straps, grab them. They sell great at garage sales. The tie down straps are for semi beds. Remove extra boxes out of your way. Makes it so much easier to find all the buried goodies. Lol Carry a bucket with you into the dumpster, fill it then dump it in the truck. Less boxes. 🤔
If scrapping had an element of ticking/checking off things on a rarity list like bird watching...I am sure that printer roller would be high on the list... Tick/Check!
Great video mike, just a quick 1 for u if u come accross sheets of styraphone and u can get it home without breaking it,u can sell it to people who do craft stuff and people who male model things and and people who want to use it for insalation in say a shed of something, it can fetch a pretty penny.
Hi Mike. As much as you donate Why not donate those orange cones you find to those hard working people that do Free Lawn Care for older & disabled folks I think they should use them behind their trailers and street for their protection Just saying Good work for the environment 💥🇺🇸
The straps that you found are for 53 ft trailers. They are used to secure loads on tie down points in interior walls of trailers. Called logistics straps. Go to a trick stop make a sign "logistics straps for sale". Should be able to get about $20.00 per complete strap.
No those straps are for the d rails inside of a box truck, they load lock straps, lol nice love ❤️ thanks BigAl California praise Jesus grace Christ amen 🙏.

You should consider in time with the amount of new electronics . You could probably collect and get a tech to build you a great computer bro.😅😅😅
24:04 this is old Mimaki JV3 solvent printer. I have repaired many of them. There was a time when it was worth 15.000$.
Im totally disabled and have been

I am having a

I would love to see a video of you taking that printer apart if you decide to do it.
I'm dying to see a video of Mike sorting and taking everything apart! He needs to do them
Yes
The connectors on the straps are for what is called E track used in box trucks and trailers for controlling loads. $$$$ Love your new format and editing Mike!
"that's an old computer" says Mike about a computer that is newer than the one i have at home and still use.
Hey there, Mike! Loving the new intro. Thanks for all the scavenger fun.
Great day and night for you. May you continue to be bless. I do side walk scrapping.
I used a plotter like that when I was a CAD drafter some years ago at a big engineering/ manufacturing company. Memories! Also, loved your GLEE at that conduit-filled dumpster!
U are hard work er
SCAVENGER MAN!!!!! Love the intro!!!! And the new camera. You put so much care into your videos! We appreciate it. Makes you the best!

Lovin the new intro Mike, gave me a sort of "That 70s Show" vibes HELLOO WISCONSIN
You got some considerate dumpsters! 1st one had wires in bags for you and then the conduit dumpster had them all taped up in bunches! Nice!!
Love these videos it's only Been up for 14 minutes and had nearly one and a half thousands views already so I'm not the only one that looks forward to seeing these videos
I feel the same. Great content, wonderful personality.
Mike those straps are for inside semi trailers load securement...the ends fit into slots
Same system is used in handicap vehicles.
Connector ends on straps hook directly to the inside walls of semi-trailers for load stabilization .
Was gonna say this but glad someone got it first. Definitely a bugger when they are just the little bit bent. FedEx trailer nets are always a bitch.
It's called e-track. I just installed 4 8 foot rails of this on the inside bed of my F550.
No body bother Mike right now, he’s having a moment with his huge mess of wires ! 😆🤪😝🤩
Right! I thought I was going to need a smoke after that. Lol
Hell I lit one up for you ! 😂
The second camera reminds me of a scene from a horror movie where you see what the protagonist is doing on the main camera, then it cuts to another for the killer’s view, watching from the shadows.
Mike just had a scrapgasm on the wire dumpster. 😆
Definitely need to make a sort video taking apart that plotter.

24:00 That's a tarpaulin printer, Mike. Technically a big printer for tarpaulin signs. And the grey box in 24:07 is the printer cartridge.
Mike those printers will have a small hard drive so you can use it as a stand a lone no computer needed.

Love the intro and great finds tonight. Those electronics should be worth reselling. Conduit dumpster was gold.

Mike, those straps you found at the 6 minute mark are for a 18 wheeler flatbed. They latch on to clips/hooks along the belly of trailer.
New here in Missouri they run about 45 each
Polystyrene(Styrofoam)
Every time mike gets up, I expect to hear : Oh, where’s my car?
hey Mike you hit the motherload......can we watch you scrap the big printer out please?.......debbie from the uk.......

Dumpster ninja Mike.... SCRAPPPP hope your good stay safe.
you should definatly research computer stuff they will probably have higher value then scrap price no matter if its old or new reto gaming is a thing and people pay good money for it,old stuff doesnt even have to start up to have worth they fix them and its expected to be bad, infact dont turn them on at all it will probably only hurt the stuff unless some parts are removed replaced before use
