I was a cop. Seen a Martin county Fl deputy get smacked by another deputy for bringing his gun into the sally port for the 3rd time. Guns stay out of the jail even for cops.

My husband is in this prison and had kitchen details thankfully God kept him safe bc he would've been in the kitchen that morning but wasn't feeling good and stayed in his dorm instead.
I know the whole story to this. They were dating, he had been acting weird a few days before he killed her. It's being said she was talking to someone else at the same time. He met her while she worked on the job. The prison has fired a lot of female workers since this bc they are finding out about a lot of officer-inmate relationships. I went to visit my husband today & there's still bad things happening, someone was getting medic flighted when I pulled in the parking lot today
Honestly he was probably given a heads up and told not to say anything. He’ll probably tell you about it when he gets out. That’s definitely not something you wanna bring up while still in there.

@@ervoro5949 I wouldn’t know how he came into work but he came into our dorm with a small 22 auto in his pocket that he showed us once during the month and a half that I was there, so much goes on in these places that you wouldn’t believe, they are so corrupt

I work at a smoke shop and always try to sell glass cleaner whenever I sell a bong and have become horrified at how many people say they don’t need it because they never clean their bongs.. 🤦♀️ Like I’ve seen a cup of water get moldy so surely the same can happen to bong water.
@@Littlelikeme92 you just empty out the bong water. Remove the bowl head and run some water through it. Then fill it up again. Don't think putting glass cleaner in a bong is too good for ya.

@@peterrooney3780 glass cleaner gets all the residue off the sides that water doesn’t. I use Randy’s black label. It’s specifically for cleaning bongs. I then use dawn dish soap and rinse. It’s perfectly safe and leaves you with a crystal clean, sparkling bong.

I heard Vermont Supreme Court ruled that smelling weed in a car cannot be used as probable cause for a search, because weed is legal.

When I was in PCF about a decade ago, there was a guy in C Dorm with a little .38 snubby, so this has been happening for a long time, but I was under the impression that it was in that dorm for a long time, just kept getting handed down over the years because no one wanted to risk trying to leave with it.
I’m working down the road from Smith State and some days the parking lot looks about empty so understaffed is the truth. My uncle has been there and said the will find like 60 shanks in a 50 man dorm!

Here in Bexar County, we just had a guy in booking pull a gun and shoot himself. Cops say he brought it in, no way. He must've pulled it from a cop who forgot to check it at the sallyport.

Not surprised you haven't heard of it, it was front page news for a cycle, then McManus got it swept under the rug just like all the other in-custody deaths and mishandled medical emergencies they've had this year alone. This past month, a friend of ours ended up needing to be trach'ed and spent 3 weeks in the ICU due to excessive force and medical malpractice. It's insane. Bexar County is Tier 1 treachery.
Another man just died this week after excessive force was used by SERT. They Narcan'ed the guy when he was belligerent, but obviously conscious. Like, if he wasn't irate before, try being narcanned when you're blitzed on cocaine and meth and see how you feel.

I just texted a friend in Tennessee, and he said the Brushy Mountain gun shooting killed two inmates. He was locked up with Robert Gibson who was killed in that shooting.

Colorado had to drop correctional officer minimum age from 21 to 18, recently. I guess since they got rid of pensions or something like that previously employed COs left.

I was at Smith State Prison for about 8 years, I did a 45 year sentence and was practically at every level 5 Prison in Georgia for about 17 years, but Smith State Prison was pretty rough

I was in a level 2 for a few months and being in a wheelchair I was only strip searched when I went in and by only one CO after visits. Keep in mind I had weekly visits and sometimes twice a week. He was the only one that searched me thoroughly . I’m guessing in 4 months I was strip searched by him 3 or 4 times out of all of those visits and a couple of the younger inmates noticed this and actually asked me to get stuff brought in. I told them straight out, my family is not going to do it and I’m not going to risk getting more time. One of the CO’s even joked with me about it ! He said they must be driving you crazy asking you to get stuff brought in. Haha Everyone else was bear naked bending over and coughing after every visit and I was getting waved past them all! I will never forget the time that same CO stopped me and said , what you got? Uzi’s ? Kilos? Etc etc and we both laughed and he said get out of here! Hahaha There was a very good looking girl who was the counselor for that dorm and every day almost all day there was one dude always in her office with the door closed! There was definitely something going on between her and that inmate!

Yeah, MN will seize your vehicle anytime they can. Then put it into a “secure” trooper lot that isn’t monitored. Sometimes you can BUY your own vehicle back for 25-30% of the value. You need to sign off that you accept the condition of the vehicle before you can inspect it. Even if your car is broken into and the deck was ripped out and wires all funked up. So “my friend” says. 😂 So you need to fix all the damage yourself. It’s a racket.
