InMotion is certainly trying to diversify. I got invited to try a fast scooter they are trying to bring out, but I’m not a RUclipsr, so they wanted me to buy it if I wanted to keep it. I said no, but they have designs on doing lots of things and I respect that. My V8S EUC is an amazing thing, I absolutely love it, so I wish them well in expanding to people who won’t commit to the best PEV. If I had to have one PEV, it’d be an InMotion because they just work.
For the Segway HILL CLIMB TEST instead of running up the hill to get it going (which didn't work), how about going sideways on the hill with throttle and the turning up the hill? It may or may not work but at least it would be a better attempt!
First one I've seen where someone has measured the grade. 16%. The cam mounted level showing 16% climb, it's rated for 20 something. Steeper than most people probably realize. I liked that.
Great alternative to the Ninebot Max G1/G2 and the Xiaomi e-scooters. For me I rather wait for the Xiaomi e-scooter 4 Ultra due to it being the 1st Xiaomi e scooter to have dual suspension hehe! By the way, good luck with your RUclips career. 😃
I own 5 escooters , including the Climber. If your roads are less than perfect your going to be tossed around a bit. Acceleration and top speed are better than your standard single motor commuter (obviously) but not by a significant margin. It can and will “climb” better than any single motor commuter. But , if your going to be spending $1000 max on a scooter , this is your only dual motor option from a know manufacturer that I’m aware of.
It has smart BMS with individual cell voltage? Why my V12HT do not have such a function? It costs much more than tis one :D. This scooter is very nice, especially the waterproofing and split rims are very sweet. Tire change on Xiaomi scooter is such a pain and splited rims just solve this issue. Anyhow I will buy Inmotion V8S instead of this scooter every single time, so much more fun, power and portability :).
They made it right in Late July, it took about a month to get it all sorted. Absolutely incredible scooter, I live in a very hilly area and am heavy - this is the only scooter in my budget that actually climbs hills.
Battery size is very similar. Max just do not have the power and speed of this scooter :). If you ride it slowly like tha Max, the range will be very similar.
@@landocycle I hate them, they should be banned, they are dangerous and people use them without helmet and drives with 1 hand and looks at their phone with the other, then crash because those shitty things are inherently unstable. fucking little toy wheels.

Which is better to buy for you, the Ninebot G2 Max or the Climb?

20 something? 36! Mine's arriving Tuesday. You made a sale. In time I'll hit my local mountain then send you a link.

Thank you :)
But still slow. The climber is way faster and more powerful 1500w vs 650w
Anyway I putting suspension on this scooter if you wanted?
Anything is possible but it would likely take more hacking than it’s worth.
Very helpful, just got one for my wife, she loves it.

I don’t have any

Not sure what it is about scooters - I bet they're fun, but I have zero interest in them. Great vid though! Gotta love Vancouver on a sunny day!
It’s cause they have too many wheels, isn’t it?
@@landocycle it's because it's a kids toy!
Ordered a brand new one of these directly from Inmotion. Received a used, dirty scooter in open box and no reply from them.

I like the scooter for the price.
Tire change is really easy, as advertised.
👍
Not enough range
$649 now on their website 😅
@@cooldadyo great price
20km range is crappy
Makes this scooter zero competition for the Ninebot Max
I think you could get much more. Like I said, I was pinning the throttle the entire time I was on it.

@@landocycle on eco max have 65km range, but in sport mode i have 30-35 km
Other reviews get 35km. Climber is the clear 🏆 🥇
April first was a week ago.. You are too late with the jokes...
Please stop.
You love slow scooters. Admit it 😂

Great video. I have one and love it. I think it has a 36V battery though? ( 01:30 )
🛴🤘👍
Thanks for the correction! The eevees spec sheet is incorrect; it is indeed a 36v nominal pack.
broo i am from van. i cant decide vsett 8 or inmotion climb/s1 gonna be riding in the areas u are lmao
Suspension is super nice to have but Vancouver rains a lot and the climber has better waterproofing. Tough call!
Climber is 899 right now at their website and I like the stealth look of a regular scooter.
