When you compare the total cost of the system (the speakers being almost the whole system, including streaming), the flexibility provided by the cardiod pattern and DSP, it is pretty unbeatable sound for the money, probably just the price of the preamps in the other rooms....
@@FOH3663 Not true. Why would it become obsolete? The digital part is transparent. DSP simply does the crossovers (better than analog) and room correction. As for connectivity, if something new comes along they'll update the software. If it can't be done with a software update then simply connect an external next gen streamer in 20 years..
They sound amazing , had a pair for 2 weeks to test but did not buy them because of the latency due to the DSP , when you track live guitar , vocals or keyboards in the studio it's impossible to play with these because everything you here is a fraction of a second later then wat you are recording , for mixing or mastering they are amazing or as a High-end HIfi speaker they are perfect and sound better then the most speakers and cost only half or even a third of the price , if you don't record with them just buy them !
The 8c's have a low-latency mode. In low-latency the latency is 3 ms, which is the equivalent of 1 meter sound propagation delay. Tracking is not a problem.
Price/Performance is my favorite category
The black and natural one looks simply stunning. Elegant, timeless, classic!
Woahhhhh! These are ridiculous!
Nice!
Your right, tough to beat for that kind of money.
These look great and sound great. I sure like the simplicity of this setup.
crazy detailed voice
Lol didn't expect the 2 woofers on the back, nice.
Great sounding!

Yes ... but as killer as these are, ANY active onboard DSP platform will be obsolete relatively quickly.

How come you never check the Anthem & Paradigm / Martin Logan setups? Love your videos. Thanks for keeping us updated always 👌🏻

This is a speaker you can make yourself.
Yeah right. A lot of engineering has gone into these speakers just to implement all its DSP functions.
Not bad, but not Borresen’s either🙈.
