As a teenager, I worked at a place called The British Pantry in Redmond WA, thats still there today. It was part tea room, part grocers, part deli, and candy chop. All things British. The candy selection was bar-none the best for miles around. I remember a candy just as you described here. The UFO saucers were always a good choice, as well as the multitude of chocolates and hard candies. Good times.
Cadbury Flake proved that no matter how "trashy" the unwanted/leftover scraps are, sometimes you can come up with another interesting outcome. And with the appropriate advertising, you can sell millions of 'em 😂😅
Well what do you know, someone made good on a mistake of seized chocolate!😊 I've never ever heard of Cadbury Flake but it sounds yummy 😋 I have heard of Ann Reardon and I really like her RUclips channel!❤
I've always wondered how they made these, it almost looks like it shouldn't exist. My favourite chocolate is Twirl, which is pretty much just a flake covered in chocolate.
