Good review! You know I'm cheap so would you recommend these for video editing or just music/movies? I have a hard time because all of my headphones sound different when trying to to dial in my dialog.
Hey brother!! That depends on what you currently use. For instance in Music mode there is a huge perceptible delay. The Low Lag mode is .06 they say. But I edit with a pair of AiAiAi TMA Studio 2s and so to me there's a barely perceptible delay when I watch videos with these connected to my MacBook. So I think it depends on what you're using now if you will notice it. I do, but the average person I dont believe will. But we as editors are more attuned to that.
How do you like those? I really like them, I wear those for work sometimes if I'm not in my office and need to have the mic and hearing while out in higher traffic areas of the house!
I bought the Baseus Bowie 30 a couple of days ago, and I am thinking of sending them back. The thing is I like almost everything about them except for 2 things... the gap between my head the the headband on each side, and the fit on my head. The headphones feel too big for my head shape. The bottom part of the ear pads falls too far below my earlob and I dont get a good passive NC because there is a gap. I really wanted to like these. They have great build quality, really good sound for the price but because of the mentioned shortcomings I know I will never wear them.
I can understand that 100% If you are still looking for a decent sound in the budget range. I like the older Soundcore Q30s you can find those for a really good price and they have a good app around them. Edifier W820NB are around the same price as well and are pretty good!
Do you think these would do well for gaming? I have a separate mic, but have never done a non "gaming" headset, so I've always had a dongle connector for my computer.
Hey! These would be good for gaming since you can customize the EQ deeply. This means you could really accentuate the frequencies needed for gaming. If you plug them into the controller that should remove any natural bluetooth latency, so I think it's worth a look. Now that I shared that, I have a bias, I'd like to disclose. Because the majority of Gaming Headphones have no form of "processing" that takes place regarding the sound created/shared to the user, I believe that most if not all gaming headphones are just normal headphones marketed as a gaming peripheral. This explains why so many people use open back "Hi-fi" head phones and not Gaming Headphones as a primary when you look at content creators in the gaming or desk setup spaces.
@@CoZChristopher thanks for the reply! can these be paired with a usb dongle? i'd need it's connection to be just as good as if it was a dongle-paired set, bluetooth on pc is pretty bad I think
