As far as the Radio, I also have a 1988 Dakota... Radios for that truck in good working condition are hard to find.... I had to asseble two radios together to get one good one.... There is a guy on E Bay that sells refurbished Radios for the 1988 Dakotas, around $125.00.... He also adds a jack for your phone or MP3 player.... They come with a Cassette Player.....
Thank you I did see those on ebay. I lucked out at a thrift store I went into and found a bit newer one for $5 I think it is from a 93 but it fit right in and looks good in the truck.
