How did Clements with the hot round from the chase card get into the club house with lead card just teeing off 14? They get golf carts or was lead card playing that slow?
There are 3 rounds. You keep your score from the previous day, and all 3 days scores get added. So, you could shoot -10 the first day, and then -5 the second day, and you would be -15 to start the 3rd day. The reason you don't see people with -6 and -7 at the top, is because its about the EVENT score on the right. That is the score that is counted at the end of the tournament to see who won. It can also be a little bit confusing, because the 4 leaders play LAST for the day. So people who are in front of them could be done with the course/holes ahead of the lead card, and that can show on the score card. Hopefully not too confusing lol. TLDR; 3 days scores added together for a total.
@@imacrostutorial So the reason they are negative is because they have scores UNDER par. If a hole is PAR 3 (you get 3 shots to "par") & you get a birdie (or 1 stroke UNDER par) that means you made it in one less shot than you needed. So you would get -1, because you get 3 throws for that hole; you only used 2; so that's 1 UNDER! Hope that helps. If my explanation isn't helping -- I would just look up how golf scoring works on youtube or something. I always overcomplicate things.
@@Carnivorefitness2024 watch again, I had to 3 or 4 times, he steps with his marked foot but pick his mini up from out the shrubs. I belive it was a fault
Nikko must have been absolutely fuming watching that final round. Gannon Buhr took over a minute on several shots and no one said a thing. This sport is so inconsistent it hurts.
agreed 100%. why do the rules only apply to some? get rid of the 30 second rule, already. it’s fine if players want to take their time. just watch a round of golf. players take their time, as they should.
well he is allowed to place his mini up to 1m away from the OB line I think, but if he didn't then it's a foot fault. Then again I wouldn't say it's well over 2 feet
This is why I have started to really appreciate Philo's commentary more and more. He regularly comments on foot fault violations during coverage. I wish more people called things like time violations or foot faults in round, but it does help when commentators, especially ones that are current players, point out foot faults during coverage.
We need to take the pressure off the player to hold 3 other people accountable and then start calling rules and violations on people. Then if the player you called a foul on disagrees with your violation call against him, you have to look at the other two people “hopefully expecting” they were watching with you and can second a call. Top 5 cards need a DGPT official to call the rules out.
