I have ischial bursitis and am a serious rider. The Infinity saddle has solved my sit-bone problems! After years of suffering, I finally enjoy long rides again.

I searched& searched for a fastback bananna style seat last week like girls 20" bikes had 70's.
I think your fastback seat is it.
I had a 20" 5 speed Columbia with a sissy bar & fastback like this too in 1974 or so.

I use an original solid plastic Infinity seat and have added a seat cover. This is by far the best road bike seat I have ever had. I have never had any abrasion or hot spots in rides up to 100 miles. Highly recommend.

Finally somebody who knows my pain. I'm not a small person - I'm 5'11" and 110kg, and I have battled with saddle comfort since forever. Ironically my worst saddle was also a Selle brand one. I've settled on the Brooks B17 saddly for the time being but after ~90kgs the discomfort becomes quite unbearable and I'd just decided it's something in my genetic sitbone design or something. And I've done a Specialised bike fit which was thorough so it's not like I haven't tried! You certainly sound like you ride a lot further than I've ridden historically. Do you continue to endorse this saddle even today still? How long have you been using it now? As you say, it's expensive but given how much we spend on our bikes, if it solves the discomfort issues, then it's worth it! I see they've recently brought out the A1X which I'm tempted to try (I ride a mountain bike mostly offroad). I live in South Africa though, so will likely need to order it from the USA.

      Hi thanks for reaching out
Yes I still use the infinity saddle and it’s for me the most comfortable saddle I ever bought.
But if I buy it again it will not be Leather as it’s not good in the rain. I just finished a 600km ride in 36 hours 28 hours in the saddle and yes I got a little discomfort but I believe it’s normal after 28 hours in the saddle

@@cycling2adventure Given your ability to do such long distances non stop, if you want another challenge, look into the Munga race in South Africa. The distance may not be a major challenge for you, but it's ridden through a very arrid part of SA in the time of the year when it can get quite hot, which adds to the challenge. 🙂

I really want an Infinity e2 saddle, because I've tried many saddles, but even in the short term I feel unbearable pain in the soft tissues, but unfortunately it's not available anywhere in Europe. I really want to ride a bike because I ruined my body with a lot of work and riding a bike is the only thing that can heal it.

I managed to buy one from the UAE. The distance between my sit bones is 12 cm, but the saddle feels narrow. It would be perfect for me if it were 1-1 cm wider on both sides.

Very informative, thank you for the video. You are mentioning resolving sit bones problems with the saddle, but what about issues with the perineum area? Currently on my 10th "high end ultra comfortable" saddle, trying to resolve perineum pain and numbness without any success. I am getting to the point of quitting cycling because of the pain. I also ride ultra distance, mostly on aero bars. Do you think that Infinity saddle can help resolve pain/numbness in the perineum area specifically, I do not feel any severe discomfort around my sit bones on the other saddles. Cheers.

I can’t Garantie that it will be the solution for your problems. I believe you had a bike fitter to help you. For me it has been the most comfortable saddle I don’t have any numbness on the infinity saddle best is you maybe contact infinity saddle maker doc Vince there are very responsive any maybe help you out.
SQ saddle maybe a solution for that problem
