Nice tutorial! Lightning boy shaders have been such a boon to hobbyists who want to acheive that npr look i love their tutorials as well. I wonder if you've ever found yourself wishing you could use blenders hair grooming tools for stylized hair? I find most of the time its not needed because you end up losing some control for individual strands but every once and a while I run into a situation where I just wish I could populate an entire surface with a strand ive modelled and groom it into a position i like. I've found some tutorials that work to some extent but ive never found one that you can take a mesh or curve and just tell blender "populate hair on this surface that looks like this".
Hi, have you ever considered creating a complete course where you teach how to create anime looking 3D models, from 0, for beginners? That's exactly the style i'm trying to learn but it's difficult to find proper tutorials or courses. I'd really buy it.
@@Nohandlesareopenahhhhhh Ok, but I was asking for a complete course to BUY, where he explains step by step, slowly, not a quick yt free tutorial series 🙈
Hey, can you tell me how much it will cost to make a custom anime looking male character for using in blender and as a vr avatar. from you or other artists.please answer if possible.
That number varies highly on the quality you want. There's people on Fiverr that can do a passable one for ~$300, but the lowest I've seen for good quality is $1000.
That grease pencil outline trick is tremendously useful. Honestly think this is easier than the inverted hull method. Great tutorial!
Inverted solidify almost doubles the poly count so yes, this is definitely better. If only it was portable to game engine.
What grease pencil trick? Did I miss something?
@@Smeebit You didn't miss anything. I just used inverted hull to get my outlines before. This is a lot easier.
YO YO YO Back at it again!. My fav youtuber. Remember me when you get alot of views bro
Your tutorials are great. Everything's shown and explained clear! You're a great teacher.
This is so impressive, it looks so good!
commenting for the algo, thanks for making these tutorials

You are a god send. Thank you!
Im new to 3D, do you not need to attatch the hair to the scalp for animation?
Are you using the Goo Engine fork of Blender for this tutorial?
Bro this is underrated

Yup, considering it.
@@2amgoodnight yaahh amazing ^^
Very nice tutorial though I would like a 3D Hair tutorial that covers more fluffy style and big spikey stylized hair as that style never gets covered.
same and agree 😭 ive been looking for one forever and its all the same
I have the cuestion the grease pecil is compatible with Unity 3D
Not compatible; for Unity I suggest curve method for all hair and Solidify method for outlines
